There is a segemnt by Sonu Nigam where he has donned the looks of various Music Artists like Adnam Sami, Shankar and others and is singing their songs in a rather funny way. Everyone took it in a sporting spirit but his looks were blah acc. to me and I didn't like the segment much. Spelt more like B-o-r-e. 🤔

Asha Bhosle's(GIMA'S Goodwill Ambassador) was the first to peform and her song was really nice. No idea from where it is though. But LOVED it. And the girls and guys supporting her were amazing too!!

haha I think in a forum ppl do feel sometimes they are talking to themselves. THanks for summarizing what happened at the awards. That was interesting.

PS I have been recently listening (watching the video) of Mast Punjabi song from No Problem. Am loving the song. So full of energy and fun song.

Love marriage!! lol

Love worked for me.. But I know tons of people for whom arranged has worked.. End of the day.. its the two people who can make a marriage work or can make a marriage break... 😊

Can arranged marriage really work in today's day and age? I get how it worked for our parents but I feel like the kids now a days are not willing to compromise as much. I mean the boys I meet on a daily basis, I am good friends with but I cannot imagine being married to them because they want to go back to India and marry a "seedhi saadhi girl" but they want to date around before they go do that... maybe, I have just had bad interactions with the limited indian boys around.

Arranged can work as well as love ji; it just depends on the two individuals who are together. A love marriage can easily fall apart as an arranged marriage.

@Pari-there is no guarantee that love will work either in today's time. Love is pretty complicated and nowadays it never seems to go over the infatuation phase. I have a friend who is in an arranged marriage, and getting married soon. Nowadays even if it is arranged, you have a lot of time to get to know each other and see how it will work out. Personally, I think you need a strong bond of friendship and trust before love to make a long sustaining relationship ji. Love just happens eventually. However, if you think arranged is not for you, then I say go with love. If it doesn't work out, only you (generic you) will be responsible, and the blame will lie with no one but you (generic you) for the failed relationship along with your partner.

It's so funny how dichotomous the terms are. "Love" or "Arranged" marriage, I mean isn't marriage supposed to be about love anyway? the term arranged seems to imply a marriage without love, I mean I know what an arranged marriage is but I have an issue with the terminology.
