I've noticed that in most cases awards are ONLY given to those people that are able to make it to the award function.

For ex: If an actor is more deserving of the award based on his performance but does not show up to the fuction due to prior commitments or whatever reason, then that particualr award will go to some other actor who has attented the award function.

Now there are exceptions, but that seldom happens!

yup i hate it. i only watch filmfare for the performances only to be honest no matter if my fav actor/actress is getting the award. its all scripted n edited all ready so its not fun to watch.

But as I mentioned in my initial post...awards/nominations isn't what judges a star's performance.

Everybody loves to get awards, but unfortunately in bolly & tellyland, the most deserving one doesnt get it most of the time in my opinion. So i have almost, actually i lost all my faith on Indian Entertainment award shows long time back, even though i still keep hoping my favs & the deserving ones get their deserving awards😆

the awards are useless if your favourite doesn't win, or someone you think undeserving wins...

the awards supposedly get something right if your favourite wins or is recognized, and someone you think deserving wins...

as simple as that... koi complicated funda nahin hai.. 😉

truthfully, obviously awards matter, in the short term sense, no matter how much bias/prejudice is present... just like with the viewers who vote... so really, i don't see what the difference is... either way, you'll have happy campers and unhappy ones...! in the long run, it really does not matter, though... what matters is how successful your career had been/or is...!

Th award categories are getting very annoying. In fact every yer they have new category coming up. I am not surprised if this year we will have an award for best item number of the year 😕

Oh im still super angry at last years awards

My blind eyes were opened that awards only mean SRK - Bachan Parivaar

Thats it credible and really good actors dont stand a chance and its unfair

example last years apsara award was given to SRK for RNBDJ i mean seriously RNBDJ ? When there was Shahid (Kaminey) , Abhay (Dev.D) etc ....

Plus besides that everywhere else was the "Paa" effect

Honestly IMO Amitabh Bachan is capable of so much more and in paa he dint really have alot , the main thing that stood out for people was his look which was make up , acting wise it wasnt anything huge compared to amitabh's previous epic performances

Anyways awards are just a joke and purely for entertainment ,

if some XYZ person wins through their ABC ways that doesnt mean all the other MNO actors and actresses are bad ,

Psstt even Kurbaan and WUS was ignored at so many deserving categories and filmfare was the worst changing , altering and mending categories to fit the people they wanted to give the awards too -_-

Im for sure boycotting filmfare (the only thing good was Shahid's MJ performance and some of the acceptance awards) , but the others just for the performances might give them a dekho
