^^ lol...searchindia is funny but they do tend to get really vulgar and personal....whenever reviewing actresses, they mainly talk abt tits, curves,bra sizes and bosoms.....and expressions like fart, piss, pee and other crude toilet humor constantly make their appearance felt in all their reviews...and the expletives they use for sum actors is a bit appalling...

WHAT is Rajni? lol not even who, my question is WHAT! I went to watch AA today and while that show was packed...the tamil Robot had a bigger lineup! Like...I honestly couldn't believe this many people would turn up for...this movie. lol.

Just back after watching Robot. Its an awesome movie. Last 30 minutes was like I am watching a hollywood movie. Out of the world special effects and Rajni sir is as usual superb. Wish they could cut 1-2 songs as they break the flow of movie and looked bad with their dubbed lyrics. End look promising for a sequal so I am hoping for Robot 2.

Bollywood actor-producer Aamir Khan says he is yearning to watch southern superstar Rajnikanth-starrer Robot.

"I am most keen to see Robot. Rajni sir rocks!" Aamir posted on social networking site Facebook.

The movie, which is called Endhiran in Tamil, also features Aishwarya Rai. Apparently made at a budget of Rs.175 crore ($38 million), it is being lapped up by audiences across India.

Actors who have seen the movie are all praise for it, but have pointed to its inordinate length.

Riteish Deshmukh posted on Twitter: "Superstar Rajni! He is a phenomenon. Action in Robot is just what you want to watch as a Rajni fan. Go watch it now - a bit long but worth it."

Actor Tusshar Kapoor opined: "...quite a fun film but a bit long. Rajni looks young and energetic even at this age. No wonder he's such a superstar."

Actress Sameera Reddy went gaga over the 60-year-old actor. "As the No.1 Rajnikanth fan, I am so proud that he has kicked ass at the box office! So proud of you Rajni sir! You are the best!" she tweeted.

For those who asked "what" is rajinikanth let me answer the question for you. First of all using " what" instead of "who" offends me as a person as its a human being we r referring to.

having grown watching rajini movies, I can say that his movies crosses all boundaries.....his movies r not made for a particular genre ....

its for all ages, clean, entertainement, sincere, honest, it crosses economic status, general genre....complete entertainment.

His personal life and his simplicity in real life and his simple life makes him the superstar that he is. He has no airs abt him, he is what he is, he makes fun of himself, he acknowldeges the flaws he has, if his movie goes flop (which is very very rare) he gives everyone their money back, he has been in the industry for 35 yrs, people have seen him rise from a side actor to villain to hero to superstar status hence everyone in the family have been a part of his cinema life right from my grandmom, mom to me and maybe to my kids as well.

I cant beleive I watched it last night. It was a great timepass movie.

Thelast 30 mins special effects was spectacular. Shankar's vision was mindblowing. Yeah the songs tended to drag a bit (but renewed my Machu Pichu longing)and the movie was long.The parts with Aishwarya tended to get repetative. Some of the parts like delivering the baby was a little corny but Shankar knows his audience and has rightfully catered to them. Have to give him full credit for not being pretentious.

But the Rajini phenomenon is incredible. In our small east coast city the tickets to Tamil and Telugu version are sold out for a week - all 3 shows. I was like who is going to watch a movie on a weekday - that too a matinee show but apparently there are people who do at $25 a ticket 🤓

We had to go to the hindi version and that was not full I would say probably around 70% full.My Dh will be going back again for the tamil version next weekend.
