She did a awesome job and gave her best in all of her movies buh If i had to choose I would choose Fashion, Aitraaz and Kaminey

And that's why she should be given even more credit. Anyone can be popular if they keep getting great movies, but when you don't have as many memorable performances, and still continue climbing the success ladder...that speaks for itself. Plus, there's nothing wrong with a slow start. Saif had that. He spent 10 years playing second fiddle to Akshay and stuff. After 10 years he finally left a mark with DCH/KHNH. I hope PC continues to be successful too...and I personally can't wait for SKM and Silence as I know those will only add to her already growing career graph.

I don't know about giving her credit for not having to many memorable performances lol. I don't like to give credit to actress who continue to climb the success ladder like u said without having memorable perfomances! I like actress who continue to blow your mind from their first film and also continue giving us something different in each of their films!


Last time I recall ppl started noticing her after Aitraaz, but she was still not that popular! Than came fashion and dostana, and thatz were she became one of the top actress! Dostana was not a memorable performance,(since the film was Abhi's film all the way) but I guess she was remembered for her bikini scenes and it was a hit film!




But now she set the bar with Kaminey. She should be careful not to do films like AA and Pyaar Impossible which makes you think otherwise about her acting skills.

And also WYR, she would have made the film work, but she didn't! I felt like she could have raised above the weak script! I thought wow when I heard about the film that she was going to play 12 characters! I was expecting her to do a mind blowing performance! But she left me cold! The only character she played well was that geek and weird character! That film would have been one of her memorable roles, but she failed to leave an impact with the audience!

Every actress does a PI. Heck, Kareena did a Tashan and KI right after JWM's success. We can't expect them to only be doing performance oriented roles. But the good thing about PC is that some of her upcoming projects are performance oriented. Also, I dunno about you but most critics said PC was the only great thing about WYR and she pulled off all her characters quite well.

And the credit thing...sure, I don't agree when people don't do anything noteworthy and still be successful...but at least with PC she wasn't successful just by just looking pretty in her movies. She was good in the movies she worked in, and she improved. And that's why she's climbing up. Cuz she has the talent. Not just for dancing around the trees.

First of all this is about PC not kareena, so don't drag Kareena in it and go off topic just because am a kareena fan lol!

And am not saying she shouldn't be doing films like Pyaar impossible and AA! Because top actress won't be the top actress if they don't do films that appeal to the masses! Am just saying that most people (non fans of pc lol) on other forums and on here too when I read that they didn't like her in AA and Pyaar impossible! She goes OTT in these films. But if she can do masala films and act good in them and give a honest performance than I don't mind her doing those films where I don't have to cringe everytime she comes on screen!

And about WYR thing: not everybody have to agree with critics! And in the beg yes she was only pretty. Films like Andaaz, Mujse shaadi karoge, were all were she looked pretty and i wouldn't say those were good performances!
