I went with some friends on a 4 week trip to India in the summer of 2001.
During that visit we decided we wanted to see a genuine Hindi movie.
So we did and actually we enjoyed it even though we didn't understand a word that was spoken.
Now I'm looking for this movie and maybe try to buy it some place.
I know a lot of movies a released and I have very little information because it was quite some time ago....
Well... here goes nothing.
I believe it's an action movie... there's some fighting in it.
It's also a love story.
The main girl character has some relationship with the police. (father? dunno....)
At some point in the movie the main male character does some martial arts (showing off) and he hits a bigg ice brick in two. I believe the movie ends with a shooting and the evil guy gets shot.
This is all for now....
I'll ask some buddies of mine if they can remember more.

I've checked onlinewatchmovies and the Badal you mean is not the movie I saw.
I did watch all of it very fast but nothing looked familiar and I also missed the ice breaking scene

Ooh or maybe Deewanapan. I think her father was a politican. I should really stop treating this topic as a guessing game 😆

Thanks a lot for all the help!
I'm convinced it's not Badal now. I watched almost all of that movie last night and it didn't look familiar.
I will check Gadar, Farz and and Deewanapan.
I spoke one of my friends who was on that trip with me and he says he may have a photo of the movie poster. I also have a videotape of a small part of the movie. (yes we secretly videotaped a very small part of the movie). Problem is that I have to digitalise it to upload it on the internet. I'll post them if the movies mentioned are not the right ones.
