Actor Imran Khan is miffed with maamujaan Aamir Khan. Apparently, Aamir saw Imran's film 'I Hate Luv Stories' and wasn't too impressed. In fact, Aamir on hearing that the movie was doing reasonably well at the box office told Imran, "Imran, you're lucky!" and nephew Imran didn't take this remark too well. He retorted, "It's not luck, maamu. We all have worked very hard on the movie."

However, Imran maintains that such a remark from Aamir is expected. "Criticism runs in our blood. So a postmortem of every movie we do is a must. I'm sure if maamu has seen the whole film, he'll have a few more things to tell me – all negative!" he laughs, "But that's just maamu for you."

Imran's career is looking up these days. The guy has just bagged Karan Johar's yet-to-be-titled flick opposite Kareena Kapoor, and he's looking forward to this one. We guess with Aamir being all praise for his 3 Idiots co-star Kareena, he may just have kinder words for KJo's next wonder!

love aamir khan for being sooooo honest!! and i agree wid him i feel imran is lucky!! i dun think he can act too well!!! imran has also criticised aamir in the past---which i dun feel he shud do as he is much younger and in my opinion he cannot act!!

Imran dear no need to get cocky yet everyone works hard for their movie. You're mamu is absolutely right you just got LUCKY! I agree with Aamir and I wasn't too pleased after watching the movie either. It's a surprise to me that the movie did good.

If movies like Houseful, Singhh is king can get hits which weren't funny and had lame jokes those kinda movies could get hit, then why not IHLS? Maybe Aamir thought Imran won't get without delhi belly lol And not just it got a hit but youth is loving imran character.

this is the limit y wud a mamu wish failure for his bhanja?? i have watched the movie and as a cinegoer i was not impressed by imran's performance i did not feel much! yes i feel he was good in a few places---but according to me he is not a good actor---he does not feel or live his characters!

Maybe but i think imran is improving with each movie. I loved him in Luck, however i didn't liked him in his debut movie.

cant an uncle be constructive, honest about his nephew?

Isnt that what family is about- being honest and critical of each other and pushing them to do better at the same time be there when you need them and lift them if necessary.

Actualy I would say Aamir is a breath of fresh air in an industry where actors release ads of their children's successfull movies.

Dont you think?

And I think Imran is a sensible young man and may be this will drive him even more to somehow please his maamujaan.

LOL! Atleast Aamir does not discriminate when being critical of movies. He is a perfectionist so its to be expected that he thought Imran was lucky. And Imran bacchu its not just your team that worked hard - even teams that worked flop movies have put in a lot of hard work.

take movies like kites for example----i know peeps dun like it, neither did i, but geez a lot of hardwork was put!
