yeah, i love most of the scenes already mentioned...

one more that was heart breaking was from Tehzeeb, when shabana azmi dies... that scene still brings tears to my eyes...

also, from pukaar... when madhuri visits anil in jail, and realizes what she has done.... oh, i love that whole movie...!!

i love that scene from fiza too... karishma was awesome in that movie...

there are many more, but these are the ones that came to my mind instantly...!

*snorts* As if the subtle racist stab in Fashion was the best breakdown scene.

There are 2-3 scenes that come to my mind, then a lot of them I can't remember quite right now.

1) Karishma's scene in Fiza. Definitely and surely. That was a power packed performance. I've never loved her, quite loved her performance literally, before or after that movie, but in there, she was superb.

2) SRK scene in Kal Ho Na Ho. Perhaps it's the intensity of how I wasn't expecting that he was dying when I first watched it in the cinema and the suspense was still intact. I still cry every single time I watch that scene. There's just so much unsaid, unheard and depressing in that scene.

3) Priyanka Chopra in Fashion. That's mind blowing acting, and that's the only reason I loved it. That girl can act to the point that she convinces you she did it and is now dying inside. You actually feel for Meghna's character. I usually like Kangana's one too, but PC's one was just more powerful. Kangana's voice ruins the beauty of a break down scene.

Haven't watched Kurbaan, and don't remember the other scenes mentioned in the posts.

Some scenes I found really heartbreaking...

- The scene in JWM when Geet is telling Aditya about what's happened to her over the past few months. I don't know but seeing what Geet was before and what she had become was really sad.
-Kajol's breakdown over her son's body in MNIK. Soo heartbreaking :(
-Preity's breakdown in KHNH when she finds out that Aman is dying and that he loves her... still gets me every time!

the few i can remember right now are
I dont know if this counts as a breakdown but in Lajja wen Rekha is about to get raped by those men and she screams out for help...i thought that was the most powerful.
Karishma Kappoor in Fiza
Soha in RBD
Priyanka in Fashion
Aamir in RDB in Sue's apartment
all four of these are soo powerful and really came from within. They were the highpoints in the movies too
and Kajol in MNIK....

They mean that Priyanka woke up and realized the error of her ways and how much she has changed because she woke up after spending a night with a black guy. it was sort of way too obvious that they picked a black guy to make a big 'shock effect' and yeah if you catch subtleties like that it was definitley a racist jab. I saw that too.
