well it isnt exactly a secret that a vast majority of Indians still view African peolpe stereotypically and somewhat racially, obviously this was meant to be a big shock as in 'how could she sleep with a black guy.woah'. i dont know, i thought the whole thing was sort of retarded to be honest. I LOLed when it was shown that THIS was how she realized that she had turned into a bad person

Since we are on the priyanka scene and her breakdown and how it was racist.....I didn't even find that scene that powerful. It was acted okay by priyanka. Noting awesome like Karishma in Fiza and Raja hindustani and even Kareena in Kurbaan.

IF you ask me the better scene where Priyanka acted better in a breakdown scene than that racist scene was when she couldn't walk the ramp. That was acted good by her IMO. But don't know if you guys count that as a breakdown moment but I do.

All the break down scenes of Rani Mukherjee in Babul when she learns that her husband is death specially the scene in the shower where she is washing away her sindoor the red thing indian brides put on their forhead. What an brilliant performance by Rani.

Another one would be Priyanka Chopra's Fashion scenes where she has the one night stand with the guy and all of a sudden comes to her senses.LOL. I thought she was amazing in those scenes.

This old movie with rekha, I cant remember the name but hets muer ger daughter gets murdered and she finally breaks free and finds her and she cries her heart out!

She had already been in a live in relationship, had an affair with a married man. But all it takes is one black guy and whoaa...evil evil evil!!!

*Not to say that there is anything wrong with one night stands or live-in relationships. I am a bit iffy on an extramarital affair but live and let live.

Technically, her ephiphany *snorts* should have been when she realizes she is losing herself, she is taking part in breaking a marriage and all that jazz. One night stands besides the whole STD risk...I don't think there is much harm.

-I think people already mentioned Soha in Rang de Basanti

Besides that I guess I haven't watched that many movies this year.

naina's(kajol in dushman) breakdown scene after her sister sonia's death

that scene gave me goosebumps. it was easily one of the best breakdown scenes.

i also love tabu in such scenes

loved sharmila tagore in mausam can't really single out a certain scene loved the whole movie

loved jaya bhadhuri & sanjeev kumar in koshish

the whole 2nd half of Kal Ho Naa Ho 🥺 poor poor aman..felt so bad for him.. still cry whenever i watch that movie 😆

and Veer-Zaara.. many parts.. almost the whole movie 😭 and especially the time when do pal plays the 2nd time... and in the court when SRK says the poem 😭😆

and My Name is Khan.. when after the son dies and Kajol blames SRK for being muslim..so sad 😭

and even K3G.. when SRK and Jaya meet again 😆

that's it i think 🤔 I have many more too.. but if i go on, it will take too long.. 😆

and yesh, I am an SRK fan 😆
