I think everyone agrees that Kat is very poor in acting but the audience (who is the final arbiter in all matters realating to a commercial industry like Bollywood) finds her irrestible. So, maybe some people should just take a step back and think of why, in this industry filled with talented actresses, beautiful models and famous starkids, A foreign-born, wooden actress like her is ruling the roost.

i like the way you put it... though, i don't exactly think she is wooden... she is somewhere between average to good on my scale... :)

i was just remembering hema malini's role from sholay... that was one good movie... :)

This is the only reason people started talkign about awards, talent, etc.

Wooden is the label people love to put around her neck. According to some, any one can reach where Katrina is right now if they are just beautiful. Does that mean that Katrina is the most beautiful woman on the planet or something because I do not see anyone close enough to her position, beautiful or otherwise. 😉

The only reason this debate came up was becuase of ONE comment that started it all.

Comment was, thousands of kareena fans think kareena IS beautiful, which very much relates to this topic. In response, this was stated:

I dont htink anyone here questioned Kat's ability to pull in the crowds or be a superstar.

actually, the debate kinda starts at page 9... the comment was that bebo is a big "OK", or something like that... which should have been ignored, because obviously that's just an opinion of someone... you already clarified some of the points... but then there was a comment, that if bebo is big OK, so is kat... and then so on and so forth....

it takes two to tango.... :)

What does beauty have to do with success? Its screen presence, beauty, film choices, and yes a whole lot of LUCK.

So no, you cant claim that kat is successful coz she's the MOST beautiful. She's successbul because hse's beautiful, she makes good career moves, she worked her, and has luck on her side as well. Its a combo!

The POINT originally was, beauty is subjective. And telling kareena fans, taht you're the only ones who think kareena is beautiful is pointless and stupid.

And obviously, then making claims like Kat has the most fans, what does that have to do with anything?

Its like you counter one thing with something completely unrelated.
