Suniel Shetty injured at IIFA

The actor got hurt when he and his team comprising of several Bollywood stars were batting against the Lankan pacers.The spirit of sportsmanship was at its best as both the teams especially the Bollywood stars were having a blast on the field.
But the jovial atmosphere was almost about to be marred when Suniel, who missed reading the line of a pace delivery, got hit on his leg. In pain, he took few seconds to catch his breath much to the concern of his team members as well as the Lankan team that came rushing towards him to check. Though the pain has reduced Suniel to a limping man, he hopes all is well with him.

"I did get badly hurt while playing a shot but things like this constantly keep on happening on the field. I'm limping because I'm feeling a lot of pain but I'm hoping that this injury is not of grave concern to my body. I will have to get a doctor's check up. I'm sure the results are positive," Suniel says.

Meanwhile, Sonu Sood critically injured his face when the ball hit his jaw. Though he could not be contacted, sources say he had to be rushed to the hospital. Sonu has undergone three stitches.
