Yep Ranbir, Arjun and Manoj stole the show. Great performances from them.

Raajneeti Has Humungous First Week

Raajneeti had an earth shattering first week with around 54 crore nett business as per early estimates. The business has been fantastic in all circuits.

The business is only behind Three Idiots and is similar to the business of Ghajini for the same Fri-Thurs period. Raajneeti has held up very well over the weekdays which should mean another big weekend this week. Delhi/UP has emerged the strongest business with around 12 crore nett business in week one.

The film is probably heading for 90 crore plus lifetime business and may even touch 100 crore but that will depend on how next week's release Raavan fares at the box office.

finally!! I am so glad audience is supporting the movie and watching again and again and again lol

I can't beleive this movie became a hit. I mean It was really bad and dissapointing. The whole movie was pointless, just plotting to murder thats it. People murder left and right, and no one nor the people or the politicians or the media or the authorities have any concern.

The lowest point was when the mastermind behind all this cooly in the end says he never wanted this to happen and says goodbye and leaves to the USA..........that was hilarious

if i was a voter I would have voted for Manoj vajpayee....why coz first he was not nominated by his father for the highest post then came his cousins and chachaji who insulted him time and again asking him to fall in line.........manipulated his partymen to back out, file wrong ones........I actually felt sympathy towards him than anyone else esp compared to the ridiculous muders comitted left and right by the two prathap brothers

arjun cooly comes and murders two people. member after member of the family gets murdered .........no asks them anything.

anyway it was a bad pintless movie very badly adapted from mahabharatha. If u wanted to show it........show manipulation by strategy rather than voilence. It was so stupid........every scene was abt murder or plotting a murder.

RAJNEETI REVIEW

When I saw the trailer of this movie, I was like, "This is completely not my type of movie." But I went to watch it yesterday just for Ranbir. And I REALLY liked the movie! I felt all the actors, ESPECIALLY Ranbir and Arjun, were amazing. Everyone had about an equal role, and everyone portrayed their character in a great way. For me though, Ranbir completely stole the show. This was one of his BEST performances ever! OH, and surprisingly, (I'm anti-Katrina, so this was a shocker) Katrina did a pretty good job too. I felt like this is the only movie she actually ACTED in, rather than just being in it for her beauty. She looked pretty, her Hindi was AMAZING (no English accent whatsoever), and she made a great Indu. Overall, I really liked it! I'd give it a 4.5/5.

Arjun Rampal and Nana Patekar were fantastic. You could hear Katrina's craap hindi even through she probably took an hour learning each line, and her acting was just 'okay', though better than her other films. I have to admit though that the way she looked really did look a bit like Sonia Gandhi, once she got into the whole cotton sari getup and what not.

The actress they hired for 'Sarah' almost ruined the whole movie. Who was that? It was like they randomly picked out a white chick off the street and decided to pay her 5 dollars to read some lines. Couldnt they get a better American actress? She was actually a far worst actor than anybody in the movie, and i understand that Bollywood may not be her thing, but if your going to be in a movie then dont act like a complete fool.

I strongly felt that music should have been more relevant in Rajneeti, instrumentally especially. its just an emotionally gripping film, that a more emotional and sweeping score could have really added to it.
