Hrithik won't perform at IPL due to knee injury

Media has been rife with speculations that Hrithik will be performing at IPL awards and the closing ceremony plus at the IIFA night too.

However now it looks like all are in for a disappointment since his doctor has ordered him 'no dance, no running and no stress of any kind whatsoever on his knee.'

While the knee was recuperating well, the dance sequence shot for Sanjay Leela Bhansali's film Guzaarish has taken its toll again on the knee and as a result, he regrettably won't be able to participate.

Hrithik's agency Carving Dreams confirmed the news saying, "Hrithik was excited to participate and had given his consent. He even went to Singapore 3 days ago to consult his doctor and get his final reports. Unfortunately, his doctor has ruled it out for at least a month to month and a half for now, if it has to recuperate. While he is disappointed at the news; we can't risk his health in the long run".

Currently Hrithik is shooting for a co branded TVC for Kites and it is learnt that the creatives had to be changed to delete the treadmill and dance sequence from the same.
