I understand that Kareena's fans like her..but don't make her sound like super entertaining and super interesting when her itws are clearly annoying to say the least..

Rakhi and Mallika are wayyy more witty and more entertaining than her and they're still grounded...and don't think themselves as the next best thing even if they may behave like stars...it has limits...

Correct me if I'm wrong but when did any Kareena fans say they liked Kareena only for her authenticity? 😕 It's a pretty harsh assumption you are making there when you're implying that people like celebs only for their authenticity, regardless of how abusive they are or tyrannical. I'm sorry but you are mistaken in that fans consider ONLY authenticity when they judge a celeb and nothing else. Personally I think, many actresses in BW are highly arrogant and egoistic just like Kareena is, but they put on a big facade of being a 'nice' girl. I've heard many accounts of how these so called 'nice' actresses are so rude and mean off-screen.

Anyways I'm digressing from the topic, I think Kareena has many admirable qualities besides her authenticity that makes ppl, or well me atleast to a certain extent, a fan of her. For one thing, she is talented, infact one of the few star actresses who I feel deserve to be in the industry as she has been good from the get-go from Refugee. I also admire her ambition, its refreshing to see an actress, a woman in our indian society, actually having as much ambition as an actress and prioritizing her career over marriage. Her tenaciousness, her fierce loyalty to her own kin, her confidence, her heart of gold are some other positive qualities I think Kareena possesses. She is all that AND authentic. Which is precisely why, your comparison to Hitler or an abusive husband definitely does not hold up, because you incorrectly assume that all Kareena fans like her ONLY for her honesty and nothing else.

Guys lets not criticise some one for being less intelligent... not every one can be.
I have seen this time and again in thie forum that we are very happy to jump and criticise some one for being less intelligent.

The thing with Kareena is that she has an opinion on everything which some times can be a good thing whereas other times her lack of intelligence shows through. I would rather we criticised her for her comments, style etc, but you cant ridicule some one for being less intelligent.

Her ambition also doesnt go down well with most people.

Wow it's like everyone is surprised to hear these words outta Kareena.

I seriously think she made a big mistake comparing her work and herself to sandra bullock b/c there's no one more beautiful, graeful, and down-to-earth and funny as sandra! I love sandra!! Seriously her performance in 3 Idiots is nothing compared to sandy's in The Blindside! But I didn't find her snobby in this interview, except for the Sandy-comparison, she seems pretty cool! I mean she's pretty open about Saif and her relationships with the media and pretty relaxed!

Totally agree with you on the padma shree thing! It's like everyone who's actor strives for an Oscar or if Indian Filmfare, and that doesn't make them conceited. Her striving for a padmashree is what an ambitious, confident, and modern gal would do... so totally agree! But I still don't agree with Kareena on the Sandra thing!

Um..no other actress says that. So no, trust me, no one else expects her to say that either. Why does it always have to be an extreme point? There's a thing called middle ground.
