Srk already have quite a few pakistani players. And there were articles him and dada wanted to have Abdul Razaak and this was before the ipl auction. So much money already had spent on the players. I don't think there was any pressure but i think Pakistani players shouldn't had participated and i don't understand why they did? Especially after 11/26. but this shouldn't even be a issue right now. Why are they changing the subject? This whole controversy is about SS and Srk. Not why he didn't chose any players.

okay, thanks for the info guys. I think people will doubt his intentions bcoz of the airport security saga & also the non-selection of any of the best players of T20 from Pakistan.

Just saw on TV Salman asking the same question although he supported SRK's stand.

I don't know the exact reasons...but I'm guessing it could be cuz they were asked by the Head or whoever to not do so. maybe even pressurized. There def. was some politics involved. That's why SRK said that he WANTED to bid for them, but he KNOWS there are issues...but he also added that this issue should've been handled rightly and not the way it was handled. So I'm assuming this was all planned by higher ups, and none of the owners had much say. Even if they did, they probably feared the backlash. SRK never just said he wanted them, he also did say that this issue should've handled properly.

And yeah, he still does have Wasim Akram as the coach.

No actually Zareena and lalixlili, he currently does not have any Pakistani players in the team. Actually no team has.. even last season there were no Pakistan players in the teams due to the 26/11 incident. Pakistan decided against taking part in the IPL last season due to security measures for their players in India, and after it was shifted to SA, Pakistan wanted to take part, but Modi decided that there wasn't enough space in the team. Hence there was an auction for all Pak players for this season.
