Guys i know there isn't a war between SS and entire India. What i meant was how is the situation at the cinema theatre and if people are going to watch MNIK. Everyone is tweeting, not a single person came in front of media. Just by saying oh i support srk doesn't show you're a good friend. even a stranger can say that. Write some powerful tweets, but why would anyone go against SS, it isn't happening to their movie. Even if Srk is worried about his family, he still shouldn't apologize. If he do, SS will say i rule Mumbai and will give him more strength. And Karan johar hasn't even tweeted about this, he's such a weak person like Pooja Bhatt said.

Police fear vandals may ransack cinemas showing My Name is Khan

Trouble is likely to continue for Shah Rukh Khan starrer-My Name is Khan as police fear that vandals this time would even try to sneak into the theatres playing the movie to disrupt the shows.

"The worry for the theatre owners playing My Name...'is two-fold. While angry Shiv Sena activists are already tearing off the movie's posters, some may even buy tickets to go inside and cause maximum damage there," a senior official told PTI.

The police official said theatre owners are confident that any protests outside the cinemas would be dealt sternly.

However, they fear the consequences and extent of damage if the rabble-rousers enter the movie halls, the officer said. Sentiments are running high after SRK, the celebrity co-owner of Kolkata Knight Riders, an IPL franchise favoured inclusion of Pakistani cricketers for the game's third season.

Shiv Sena has come out openly against the superstar demanding an apology from him. They have also threatened the city theatre owners to stall the movie's screening, scheduled to be released on February 12. There are over 100 theatres in the megapolis.

Meanwhile, My Name...' distributors met police commissioner D Sivanandhan, to discuss the situation. The top cop assured them full security. However, no theatre owners have met the police yet.

"If the owners demand protection, security would be provided," said joint police commissioner Himanshu Roy said.

*sigh* Shiv Sena has been always doing this since time unknown just that this time they've struck gold with SRK(i.e. highest publicity) Nothing but a bunch of goondas living in their own illusionary world and talking about owning Mumbai. FOr your information i already read those tweets and i don't remember what did i said that you're using hell-blent. if speaking the truth makes it say then be it. But the truth is none of Srk's "so called friends" coming out.

Actions speak louder than words. All of the folks out there are most likely ecstatic with the recent turn of events, I am sure. If these stars are really so deeply moved with situation, then why not come up front in the media and speak up. Only a few brave hearts have done that. I don't expect anything from Priyanka, Shahid, Abhishek, Deepika and dot dot dot. Just to be on the safe side, SRK's friends have tweeted their lowe for his upcoming flick, but have they taken a stand on the issue? The media is on their fingertip, especially the prominent ones, so why not for once use it for humanity rather than break ups and make ups.

Just saying i "Support" isn't going to help this issue in any way. It's better not to say anything. Like i said earlier. Bipasha came out, she did comment on politics, waiting for the video. Tomorrow he will do to your movie. It happened to Saifeena, there Saif Apologized. It Happened with Karan for WUS, Karan Apologized and now it's happening with Srk. I am so glad he's not saying sorry unless SS harm his family. But really Srk apologizing SS going to help Srk in Any way? They will threat his family some other day or somewhere else. I am getting angry at KJO, he's not doing anything. If he wants our support he should had said so. I don't see any solution so far. one writer or was it reporter he/she said stop tweeting and come out to support Srk. Firstly he did NOT select any Pakistani players because he said he needed a bowler which was fulfilled after Shane Bond (I hope I got the name right) of NZ and he said they didn't need any more players. He WANTED to select Abdul Razzaq from the Pakistani team but could not because he was injured and who knows maybe because he felt a pressure as well that if he selected them he would have to face a whole lot of opposition even much more worse than the current situation!

Using similar reasoning, other teams also did not bid for any Pakistani players because they did not really have any requirement for them.

What SRK means is effectively this:

I did not bid because they did not fit into my team's plans.

Others did not bid because they wanted to insult Pakistani players!

He said that IPL should have handled the issue better. He never preached it to anyone to select a Pakistani player.. He kept on saying that the Paksiatni team are the best T20 players and the champions! BUT there are issues between the two countries which cannot be denied and he felt that IPL people could have handled the issue better.

Suppose none of teams felt any requirements for any of the listed Pakistani players, how could have the IPL handled it better?
