And I am editing to say that I wud still like it if she and I cud be on okay terms. Bcoz fighting/grudges is too small an attitide in todays time in our real world let alone be the e-world. I am not saying to be friends or watever but I like things cleared rather than complicated if I am not visiting a particular section anymore where I had some acquaintance/friend before.

I also do like things being more on face rather than here and there.

As fan we're entitled to what we think we may not agree on everything but debate is better than insulting or belittling. We're supposed to discuss about movies and celebs not being angry and hateful towards each other. that's why i always prefer fans who bash stars rather than fans who bash other fans.

When I read a thread and I see the I likes I know there's always some collective group logic --- ok it's human, it's socializing --- it's defending people who share the same views as ours but sometimes it's cool to try to understand other people's POV and to discuss about it without being all worked up and playing drama Kings and Queens...It's not a greek tragedy stage over here it's just a public forum which turns out to be at times a circus..not much fun...

So if people don't agree with your POV then it's fine ---- the most important for me is the reasons why I like some stars and some movies. If other people don't I don't mind because it's my POV on the movie that makes it special to me, not the whole world's take on! Of course it's better not to be the only one but individualism has its own good sides also.

I wasn't trying to make you change your POV I was just stating mine ---

What y're referring to isn't being a fan on IF but rather be a part of the largest following group fans - I guess it's comfy to get that position, but some others may feel frightened to have different views and to express them fearing some commando replies, so maybe they strike back in mmm subtle manners ......

It's really like the Nehandertals vs the Homo Sapiens Sapiens ---- how ironic -- we get back to the first era of Humanking but this time - the caves are e caves and the mammoths are the FC----Who owns the fire Torch then?

Y're entitled to your opinion and I'm entitled to my interpretation of it.😊

well according to me,being a fan completely depends what one wants it to be..for some being a fan means admiring the celebs whom they find are worth the admiration...spreading information about them among the group of people who think alike..and most importantly being a good critic of the so called celeb..

but for some being a fan means showing the extremity of obsession! getting into unnecessary fights with whoever having different opinions than him/her..always restless thinking and comparing his/her favourite with other celebs and trying hard to convince others how better looking and better behaved his/her favourite is..

i was a die-hard fan of sonu nigam..still a fan lol..😆..but as iam busy with setting up my life dont spend much time on him compared to what i used to do..so even when i was mad about him i really knew my limits..i never engaged in fights with anyone..people did try to agitate me..including my close friends and family members..i knew they just wanted to irritate me..but i kept cool and told them..''i know he is neither the best singer in india nor the best person to deal with..i like him for what he sings..thats all...''

i mean things would go ugly had i replied''no..you bashers..stay away..he is the best ok?''😆😆this is what iam seeing in IF most of the time!

iam not claiming myself to be a great fan..just my opinion..😊

I don't mind people disliking people I admire, it's ok, everyone has his/her point of view.

Yes the labeling on IF is quite a spreading disease.....I don't label people in real and not in e life because it's a way to simplify things which are more complicated than it seems.

Those fans make a confusion between their persona and their fave's ones...so basically you criticize X so you criticize me for liking him/her.....totally wrong process thinking.....

I like SRK but if people find it's Aamir the"real king" then good for them - I think that crown is fake and a total non sense unless we consider BW as a kingdom....coutesians, jokers, palaces...it's ridiculous...

And I like all the Khans...so I don't understand e fights about them we can like celebs in general it's not because we focus on one or two that means they're the best, they're only the best to catch our own attention...no need to try to impose opinions which I really despise a lot.

Shahid, Kat, Saif, Kangna, Konkona, Shiney Ahuja (as an actor exclusively), Karan (one of my fave cause i can relate to him a lot - don't like his obssession with SRK though), Rani, Preity, Rakhi, Mallika, Kajol, Dilip Kumar, Madhuri, Aamir, Genelia......I like them the most

then I like Deepika, Akshay, Sonam, and so on..............

I like a lot of them with nuance and to different levels but for various reasons, I like SRK because we have the same views on family, education, religion (liberal attitude), sense of humor, determination, hard working but there are many things that i don't like in him also!!!!

well to me at the moment setting up life means a lot..i have to handle my studies,job hunting..and also to manage a husband and home...😉..quite tied up..but still i like to chill out with music,movies and little bit of social networking..he he..

yeah..i agree with you..the whole admiration should be balanced so that you dont end up hating others or being hated by others..i come from kerala..there we have mammooty and mohan lal as the biggest stars though both are above 50 now! those two seem to be a good relationship with each other..but their fans just hate each other and are always fighting..thats a sick part of being a fan!🤢

anyways world is not a happy place i feel..this website itself is a miniature example of that...😛..
