First he got irked when his name was scrapped from the cast of Sanjay Leela Bhansalis upcoming film CHENAB GHANDHI as the main lead. Now, heres another bolt from the blue for the acclaimed actor Rajeev Khandelwal, whose debut film AAMIR won him accolades.

According to our sources, "The actor is unhappy with the new actress Lekha Washington who has been cast opposite him in the film PETER GAYA KAA SE. The film which is being directed by John Owen and produced by UTV has a fresh female face which is not something Rajeev wanted. The acclaimed actor wanted a known bollywood heroine to be cast opposite him and he even took up the matter with his producers. After many deliberations, the producers finally narrowed on a new face much to the chagrin of the actor."

When contacted about the truth behind these reports Rajeev said, "I dont want to comment on such reports before the release of the film."

PETER GAYA KAAM SE will be a fast paced action adventure film and will be Rajeevs second release after AAMIR.

If u go thru his interviews and chats...He has always said that he would prefer to work with new commers.....as that wud give his audience a fresh pairing everytime !

And I dont understand why people are after ousting him from Chenab....I think they are not able to digest the fact that a rank newcommer like Raj has got such a good film !

Anyways...Sorry to dissapoint all the detractors....But...Lemme give u the news from the horse's mouth..."Rajeev IS doing Chenab Gandhi"...

And the starter of these ouster rumours...that is the Mumbai Mirror have published an apology after confirmation of the info from Sanjay Leela Bhansali !!

So, I dont think there shud be any doubt anymore......! Rajeev has left a message for his fans regarding this on his blog aswell !!
