Well the ones I watched on tv were praising the couple. THe ppl that didnt like the movie would mostly think nothing worked in it. I think the concept was far too dark and depressing. There were no comic moments, the movie was raw from start to finish. Some ppl will obviously not like the couple. I'm talking about what I read from various different sources. Critics and audience reviews. And I have been keeping up with everything ont his movie. From fb groups, to user reviews, to forums, to critics. And the feedback has geenrally been great concerning saifeena.

However, becuaset he movie didnt work commercially, now ppl WILL point fingers and say, hey, no one wants to see their couple.

Its far too tempting and easy to blame the actors than other factors.

Personally I don't like Brangelina as a brand and Saifeena as brand...

But both individually and professionally I think they're interesting actors in some movies.....

But I was a bit annoyed with the marketing of "Saifeena", when I write it I become really angry..because Saifeena isn't Brangelina at all, they haven't the same couple story...And I don't understand the need to glamourize couple stars all the time..It's marketing on the surface..whereas they're already in the public eye....They're not a role model for any couple the same goes for SRGauri (Fashion Kouture)...so what's the point marketing a couple except for betting on promotions of upcoming movies and for keeping them in interest for the audience...

At Desu : Date with Kurbaan..do you think that they would have included someone who was saying bad about them as a couple??? The show was to promote Kurbaan and to promote their couple as well (all the intimate questions..and all)...I think it won't pay off...on screen and off screen...That's why I like Kat --- she didn't promote her relationship with Salman but took his advise and used his relationships off screen... That's smarter...

And some people don't like the whole "Saifeena" story..and you can see it on several (about hundred) different comments on ytube...

I tend to think that their couple works for the tabloids because they give reasons to write about and to hype around....but for the audience they like or despise and the majority is indifferent...

Once again I'm interested to know whether this guy has actually seen the movie or not. I'm speaking about the ppl who actually went out and watched the movie. They appreciated their couple.

Might I also add, Saifeena have rubbed some conservative ppl the worng way as well due to their liberal views. I had the pleasure of reading the backlash on twitter.

I can also post the reviews of ppl who appreciated hte chemistry. You want me to? And those are by ppl who saw the movie.

thats i wana say generally ppl don't like couples being overhyped or promoted they want them to be simply tht way.

They did! One guy said, umm...jammi nahi jodi.

Another said, well I like them offscreen but not onscreen. There was one other guy who said, they're OK togehter, nothign great.

And btw Saif hates SAIFEENA the term. And he's made it clear on more than one occasion. If you watch kareena and saif's interviews, they really try to play down this hype. Especially with the promotions of Kurbaan, infact one time, saif actually lost his cool. I posted that press conference ysterday I think. He was just like, "plz we're actors first, just watch the movie, watch Ehsaan adn Avantika, forget saif and kareean PLZ."

He was getting REALLY frustrated.

I'm nto saying ppl liek saifeena offscreen. Very few do. Infact they have a majority of haters. But onscreen, saif and kareena have so much potential that I'm just waiitng ot see it unfold.

There are some other onscreen couples who are loved, but whne they appear in differnet movies, they kinda look and act the same.

But with saif and kareena, they have tried such different types of roles, taht as a couple they are NOTHING like they are in other movies togehter. Anuj and Simran in LOC were NOTHING like Jimmy and Pooja in Tashan, who are NOTHING like Ehsaan adn Avantika. Their getups and acting is so differnet and powerful, you just forget saifeena. And that's what the two promised. I know I did, believe it or not. I've seen saifeena and how they interact offscreen. What i saw onscreen were two completely different individuals. From their body language to the way they spoke.
Saif usually has such a high shrill voice, lol. But in Kurbaan it was low pitched and deep. Kareena also altered her body language to fit the mature Avantika.

That's what I mean about this couple. their offscreen tactics will not reflect onscreen. I mean I know ppl who HATE saifeena offscreen who enjoyed the movie. Because saifeena were the last thing on their minds. THe two disappear into their roles. So I really dont see this whole, their JODI doesnt sell. ITs not like they're promoting themselves onscreen or acting like themselves. They are two very powerful actors who are playing their part. ANd it WORKS in Kurbaan. In tashan, it didnt.

Well I understand Saif-----"Saifeena" = Bebo is a homewrecker whereas she's not at all...Some people believe so and calls her name because of the "Saifeena" concept. So it's a confusing term...And it sounds like a cooked up story couple just like David Copperfield and Claudia Schiffer one in the early 90's whereas it's not...In a way they have to play that game...

Plz may you translate what that "someone" said about Saif&Bebo in english?

As I said before real life couples on screen are not appealing for example Brangelina for Mr&Mrs Smith - they were not together and the film worked but now they want to do a sequel I don't think it will have the same success..

Oh in english jodi jammi nahi means, "their couple doesnt work for me"

So yeah see, even on Date with Kurbaan, they showed those ppl who didnt like the jodi. Besides kareena knows that her couple with saif is hated. She got first hand experience during that live 3 Idiots chat when ppl abused her sexually with saif. And I'm sure she's seen other instances as well.

That's why even on Date with Kurbaan when karan said we're gonna go out and ask what ppl think about you, you can see both saif and kareena looked wary.

Which is why karan said, well you have no choice, you have to watch.

But at the same time, hated doesnt equate to "not intersted". Ppl will trash her pair with Saif, but then their commercial with Airtel was ranked #1, their hello tunes one, as the most popular or commercial with most views. So on one hand, pplp will abuse and say their coupel sucks, on the other hand, they will still be itnerested. Obviously some are sick and tired. Even Saif knows htat. He was saying that ppl will get bored if we're seen togehter a lot. But he said that the media has a huge hand in the overexposure. LIke in this interview he said, "How is it our fault if a camear decides to zoom in on kareena's phone while she's texting me, and then play that out in ten differnet articles?"

He kinda got all his frustrations out during that conference. You should watch it. He was veyr pissed, hehe.
I was like, GO SAIF! According to Saif, the media takes somethign very trivial, or will highlight ONE part of an interview and hten release ten different articles on it, which will continue to circulate on the web.

And I agree. If you notice any saif or kareean interview, guess what the tagline will ALWAYS be? Or the title?

Something rleated to the couple. Even if the ENTIRE interview is about something else entirely, they will take that one part and sell that.

Although I like Saif and Kareena offscreen but I dont feel like watching them together onscreen especially after watching Tashan. As far as I am concerned, this is the reason why I didnt watch this movie.
