It was inevitable. After all, every filmstar worth their salt is hogging television. They are either promoting their forthcoming releases, anchoring shows or appearing as celebrity judges. With her contemporaries like Rani Mukherjee also deciding to make their TV debut, can Preity Zinta be left far behind.
Like Rani, Preity too has very little work on hand and both these actresses are in desperate need to reinvent themselves. While Rani at least had a heroine oriented film as her last release, Preity had to be satisfied with a cameo in 'Main Aurr Mrs. Khanna', which is quite a comedown for her. The actress is currently awaiting the release of her film 'Har Pal', which has been directed by Jhanu Barua and shares screen space with Shiney Ahuja. The actress's personal life too has seen a lot of upheavals and currently she is believed to be single and enjoying it. Anyway, the actress will now be hosting a chat show, which will feature celebrities form all walks of life. Called, The Preity Zinta Show, it should prove to be quite a lucrative project for Preity as she is expected to be paid close to the tune of Rs 12 crore for the show, which will feature 20 episodes in its first season. Earlier, the actress was to be a part of the star jury of India's Got Talent. But that didn't work out and now Preity has a show of her own. That's pretty cool!
