Yes, someone explain this to me. If she really hates Shahid and if she really was talking about him, then why was she there at his birthday party hosted by PC? He hardly invited any of his co-stars or any of the Bollywood people. Amrita, Vishal Malhotra and Vidya were the only co-stars invited.

Depends on when this party was held and the gap between that party and this interview.

The party was in February 2009 when he was already with Priyanka (going by Harman's interview) and had dated Sania before that. Going by people's assumptions it would be after Shahid unceremoniously dumped her and ridiculed her for her weight (which was around the Kismat Konnection release/making time based on her interview)

So yeah why did she go to his party?

It's sad though that the man is only in news for ass lifters or his relationships, even when he has done decent work. Media made/hyped star he is for sure.

Rakhi Sawant and Paris Hilton are in the news too all the time.

The party was on Feb, 2009. This explosive interview by Vidya was given in November 2009. Thats a 9 month gap. If a newborn human life can be born within 9 months, I think its quite safe to assume that bollywood equations can change within much less period than that.

Perhaps Vidya saw Shahid spending more time with PC and got buckwild crazy jealous and started resenting him. This built up for several months and she finally let out all her bottled up feelings in this interview? Afterall why not, its also before her upcoming releases. Perfect time for her to be honest and garner some publicity as well.

Or substitute that with any other plausible theory.

Yah see he has got to keep everyone happy. He keeps his die hard fans happy by smiling and making great movies where we can go cheer him on for his dashing looks, and fantastic acting abilities. But on the other hand, he keeps other people on this forum who are hungry for Bollywood gossip very happy. 😉

And technically, it's not exactly his fault the media and the people love him so much that they are willing to talk for over 100 pages about his love life... 😳

Correction: Shahid did not keep the gossip lovers happy, his ex's ex did and his ex did through their interviews. Woah that is too many exes.
