Alright as long as it is just a theory.

Since we are sharing here is mine - she went to Shahid's birthday because there was never any relationship between them and neither did he make caustic remarks about her weight. No ex-gf of Shahid's made it to the party and that too one where not many of his co-stars came.

The interviewer riled her up by pushing the weight loss questions and that probably brought up some issues she had with someone else not Shahid.

Koel Purie is also an insider in Bollywood and she said that she didn't find any truth to her link-up rumours with Shahid. In fact she said that those rumours were spread to promote her films. I guess I am giving some credibility to that as well.

Ya Dil Bole Haddipa, Fida, Fool N Final, and such were such fabulous movies that my brains nearly exploded. Do not coy yourself too much. His only credible work till date has been Kaminey, and his future projects do not appear to be Emmy winners either.

Just to clear the air and let the ego deflate a bit, the 100 pg discussion occured on PC/Harman/Akshay/Vidya/Sania also, not just lover boy.:)

Many people thought he was great in JWM also. He was nominated for all the awards that year. He had a great performance in Shikhar as well, though that didn't do well at the box-office. We obviously can't judge future projects until we see them. Bottomline is, he has talent and more to have survived this long in the industry.

Jab We Met also got good reviews and he got nominated for his performance in Shikhar too. But how does it matter - fans like him and his acting. Why should his fans not like his acting? Its not like Pari said that everyone else has to appreciate it too.

I like Abhay Deol, some people think he is wooden. Should I change my opinion because of everyone else.

I don't find him to be a great actor and everyone else does. It's that simple. Like it or not, but not everyone is a fan of him.

I don't really care if you are a fan or not. I didn't really think much of him as an actor till Vivaah and Jab We Met. Even though I didn't like Vivaah the film. Nobody is asking you not to dislike him, just as his fans are free to worship his amazing acting skills. Its their opinion.

i liked ONLY JWM of all his movies

somehow i didnt like kaminey....maybe that makes me a weirdo

ii thought he was pretty plain in most other movies

as for him lasting...

it is not just talent that makes an actor last in the industry..if so, half of bollywood would not exist

Thats cuz you havent seen Kaminey yet.😛

I'm proud of him though, he can dance and act better than most of his contemporaries.😃 Plus he took acting lessons from his Naseer Uncle, cant get better than that.

Geet, I really don't understand where I have pointed for the fans to not gush over him and his acting abilities. So far I have been in my senses, and I don't recall PMing Shahid fans death threats. People like him, fine, and I don't find his acting to be immense or noteworthy. It's very simple. Just as anyone can judge him, I can too.
