Kareena wants a good saree from Shiv Sena

Bollywood star Kareena Kapoor has shot back at Shiv Sena who recently targeted the actress' bare back shots in her upcoming film 'Kurbaan'.

Shiv Sena workers expressed their anger over a poster of Karan Johar's latest production 'Kurbaan' in Mumbai on Friday, where the actress is shown flashing her bare back.

"We will soon visit Kareena's residence and present her a saree," party's area Vibhagpramukh Jitendra Janawale had said.

While the actress has not received any gift from the party as yet, Kareena insisted that if they do send a saree it better be good.

"I have not received any saree yet but I hope it will be beautiful one,"😆😆 Kareena said on the sidelines of a promotional event of 'Kurbaan' in the capital.

Women Shiv Sena members, led by Janawale, tied a saree around the poster of Kareena, who is shown holding a bare-chested Saif Ali Khan, her real life boyfriend in the image.

Reacting to the claim that the posters are vulgar, the actress said, "I do not find anything wrong with the poster. I think it is very aesthetic."

The film starring Saif Ali Khan and Vivek Oberoi along with Kareena is slated to hit the theatres on November 20.

Directed by Rensil D'Silva, it is "essentially a love story set against the backdrop of terrorism," Kareena said.

U guys, I know its not right wat SS did but they are a very veryyy powerful party. Its much better if Kareena just lets them be bcoz if they wish they wont let her film run in Maharashtra. They just want an issue and Kareena is giving them one. If you ask me she shud let them be. They are the same party who dugged out the whole of Firosha Kotla stadium so that Pakistan doesnt play there. So if they can go till Delhi where they have no power then Maharashtra is like a candy in a babys hand for them. And this is honest feedback for Kareena or her fans. They shudnt be like GOO Kareena or support her for her "giving-it-back" attitude coz in this case its rather dumb on her part bcoz then she is giving it back to a team who has nothing to do with the term "thinking" and they do as per their wish.

But shes just giving a funny reply, she hasnt said anything against em. INfact saif said that if someone has some problems with the poster, that he's willing to sit down with them and resolve hte issue.

I know that Desu but SS dont know that. They might take it whichever way the want to depending on their mood regardless of Saifs comments. Thats y I am saying its better she let them be!

I think more than Kareena's back people should be concerned about the gory detailing of Saif's wound! That is much more inappropriate than a bare back Kareena! Every soap or shampoo ad has a bare back bare leg model in it...what's the big deal about this?

The big deal is that Shiv Sena is full of crazies. And in this case they said the film was against "Maharashtra culture" not Indian culture like they usually they do.

This is a game of one upmanship between MNS and SS. And I agree they can create problems for a lot of people. MNS is too busy these days trying to stop non-Maharashtrians from giving exams in Bombay so it seems SS has taken over their work.

Both parties make me sick - but it isn't a smart idea to start an argument with them - though I do think Kareena's comment was smart.

Even Big B ended up apologising to MNS, and KJo already did it once for WUS.
