Cant blame the media really.. think about it. We somewhat thrive on this sorta stuff, even if its false news. It keeps the writers active in their job.

Its similar to the argument whether the public should be allowed into the private world of stars. We google them when we want and would like to know more about them... journos go out and get what we want, we read, Journo gets paid, we gossip.. back to square one.
