I agree ITNE Nakre.. "You cannot make fun of a star on this podium" Give me a break.. Kahe ka Star.. Although I agree that SAJID khan was pretty disgusting that night.. but still.. itna gussa..And didnt he also say that Pri didnt deserve it for Fashion he wanted Ash to win for JA.. R u kidding me.. Seriously who is this guy.. ?? What does he think of himself.

Exactly, he wasn't nominated. The guy is definitely full of himself. I am not a fan of Sajid Khan's jokes, but for once I actually didn't feel annoyed by them.

And yes Farhan's expression was just priceless.

@ Geet: Okay, I remember that blog. It was a long time ago, but I had a much hazier memory of it. That brings up a great point. Anurag has said that the editing process was quite brutal, but in the end he agreed with all of the cuts Aarti Bajaj, made for the Black Friday. You are right though, that he needs to be able to be confident enough of his work to accept constructive criticism to make it better. Those long shots certainly are pretty, but I doubt all of them are necessary.

So, I guess many of you think he needs an Aamir to make a great film. And star power I think is part of it, Hrithik is definitely what got people to give it a chance, I agree with you on that score Piya.

Riya, oh boy, was he self-centered that night or what?

One thing I am glad about though is that Ashutosh G so far hasn't claimed sabotage, which SLB did after Saawariya. I remember watching this News program where a rather dejected Ranbir and Sonam were having to defend the film. I honestly felt more sympathy for them there than I ever did for any of their characters in the actual film.

About Anurag, I think it is pretty remarkable that his editor for all these films was his now ex-wife. You would have to be extremely professional to not let that affect your personal life.

Moving on, who does edit Ashutosh's films?

My mom is so shareef, she didn't even get Ashu's dig on Rock On. When Ashu said, "personally I loved Rock On" and when Farhan made that face, she goes, "wow, farhan is so conceited, he could have smiled, you know." I had to walk her through it.😆

Geet, I am like you not a big fan of SLB. But I have more hope for him because he has a unique way of doing things. Although finding out Khamoshi was a copy made me mad, I wouldn't put him in the same league as Madhur yet, who pretty much is spoonfeeding the audience.

Adios, I was anti-Sajid, until I saw the awards show. He went overboard that night. Ashutosh did. Regardless of me, finding everything about Sajid kind of repugnant, I thought what happened was way out of line. Incredibly so.

SLB needs to not make a magnum opus for once. Try taking out the oppulence and the varnish and focus on the story for once.

And Madhur Bhandarkar needs to stop calling himself a "realistic filmmaker".

i agree, i love SLB's over the top movies..but now even i would like to see him doing some more realistic movies...and Madhur may be can go SlB's way, and make some thing over the top or comedy for change.

But at least i appreciate one thing about all these three directors, that they only repeate their style of film making, they dont repeate the star cast like our very own Farah khan and Kjo. It is SOOOOOOOOOOOOO ANNYOING👎🏼
