Is SRK back on TV?
The superstar who successfully hosted Kaun Banega Crorepati 3, and the unsuccessful Kya Aap Paanchvi Paas Se Tez Hai is planning a show with Star TV.
The superstar who successfully hosted Kaun Banega Crorepati 3, and the unsuccessful Kya Aap Paanchvi Paas Se Tez Hai is planning a show with Star TV.
He says that he has a long running association with Star TV. He earned crores and had a good time hosting KBC 3, KAPPSTH and made several appearances on Karan Johar's Koffee with Karan. He was the guest at the finale episode of buddy Farah Khan's Tere Mere Beach Mein where his in-laws gave him company. He admitted that he didn't mind being a hen-pecked husband as keeping his family happy was his top-most priority.
He is currently in talks with Star for a semi-original show that will be produced by Red Chillies Entertainment. The deal with be finalized in a few days.
In a recent interview to a newspaper he said that his being a filmmaker (producer) assures the channel of a good standard of quality. He adds that he has a good team of people working under him and they all connect professionally. SRK said that he likes the fact there is synergy and healthy competition between channels which helps to cut costs and up profits.
SRK has currently wrapped up filming My Name Is Khan which will release early next year and he will be really busy with the worldwide promotions of the film. He is currently taking his wife Gauri on a second honeymoon to Rome and they will leave the kids behind. Once he is back is good physical shape, he will begin working on Ra 1, Happy New Year and Don 2.
