Mumbai: With reality shows becoming the latest fad on idiot box, news has it that Bollywood stars are trying hard to outdo each other in order to make a few extra bucks while garnering maximum airtime and visibility before prime time audience.
In one such battle of Bollywood divas for reality show, news has it that Bollywood dancing queen Madhuri Dixit has outdone light-eyed Aishwarya Rai as the latter demanded a ridiculous amount for the same. According to the latest Bollywood news, Madhuri Dixit will be finally judging 'Dance Premier League' with several Bollywood stars.
While talking to a news daily, an anonymous source maintained, "Madhuri and Aishwarya were both being considered to be the judge for one of the teams. Aishwarya lost out to Madhuri as she quoted an exorbitant amount of money. The makers of the show couldn't afford her and the scales tipped in Madhuri's favour as she had demanded an affordable price."
When enquired the manager of Madhuri, Riku Rakesh Nath did not reveal much regarding the show as he downplayed the issue by simply playing safe. He said, "The discussion is still on."
However, Danish Khan, the VP marketing of the entertainment channel confirmed the reports and said, "Yes, Madhuri has been chosen to represent one of the teams."
Incidentally, when asked why did Aishwarya lose to Madhuri, a cautious Khan said, "I don't want to talk about the money involved but Madhuri is definitely on board for Dance Premier League."
The source further added, "Madhuri was far more affordable that's the reason why Aishwarya lost out on the show."
