Geet, I didnt wanna compare collections thats I didnt mention them initially. Anyways, I could care less about Ghajini, LAK, or KI's collections. I just want Kaminey to get its due.😃

No harm done Riya.

and I am sure Kaminey will get its due. This year the only film I think was seriously overlooked was Luck By Chance. Hey in a year that Dev D became a hit (I loved it) I don't have much to complain about. Except get mad at the friend who took me to KI.

lol Riya.... you have nothing to worry about. Kaminey is the good movie out right now with no other competiton. And it's already a huge hit

So far this year, I have liked Luck By Chance and Kaminey. Never got a chance to catch Dev D, LAK was just about okay, and the same goes for New York.

Dev D could be my favourite film of the year. But that movie like LAK had quite a few divided opinions. So I am not going to try and sell it to you. But watch it if you can.

I haven't watch kaminey yet.... but it looks like a good movie.

This year, I liked LBC, LAK and NYC. I haven't seen Dev D

oh u guys liked luck by chance?? i remember i was at my dorm wen it released....my friend saw it first, and she told me not to watch it, its a waste of time...but i was looking forward to it, so still saw it.....i duno how i sat thru that movie honestly....i mean the performances were good and all...but it was sooooooo slowwwwww, and just dragged...i dun even remember half the stuff that happened now....i still believe farhan akhtar shud stop acting AND SINGING...and just go back to wat hes the best at....ONLY direction...

ive yet to see dev d...well i saw bits and pieces of it, and i liked wat i saw....everyone else who i noe that saw it recommended i shud watch it....but i just didnt get the chance...will watch it soon...dev d is my kind of movie, by the looks of it...loll

Well if you thought LBC was slow, you might feel the same way about Dev D. Most of the people who didn't like the film had complained that it was too slow. I think that was done on purpose to reflect Dev's stuck in a rut, self-destructive life. The narrative structure kind of makes you live the depression of the character rather than just see it.

Also don't watch it if sexually explicit dialogue is not your cup of tea.

If you tell me what your kind of movie is it would be easier to say whether you'd like it or not. I recommended the film to a lot of people, only to have them tell me it was really bad. So I don't want to give anyone false hopes.
