Govinda's Feeling Let Down

Govinda is learning the hard way that nobody is a permanent friend in Bollywood. He is not exactly in the same position that he was a few years ago and not everybody wants to be associated with him professionally as everybody in tinsel town only believes in chasing success.

The actor, of course cannot complaint too much as it was a good friend in need, Salman Khan who bailed him out of trouble along with David Dhawan with the film 'Partner'. But it seems that not everybody is so magnanimous. Govinda discovered this fact during the shooting of Rumi Jaffrey's 'Life Partner'. The film required him to have a leading lady for a couple of scenes and appear in a song, the actor thought that he would persuade one of his lady friends to help him out. He first requested Katrina Kaif, his co star from 'Partner' and apparently a good friend. But she turned him down citing date issues. He next turned to 'Lara Dutta', also a colleague from his 'Partner' days. The duo has also worked together in Ravi Chopra's yet to be released 'Banda Yeh Bindaas Hai'. But he received the same answer from her as well. The actor is apparently feeling a little let down. Thankfully, the producers of the movie stepped in and saved his face by recruiting 'Amrita Rao' for the cameo. The girl has already shot for the movie. Well, it just goes to show that your popularity increases in direct proportion to your success meter at the box office.

Bolly is bad! but even govinda has made some bad choices in movies and has ruined his reputation.. he should sign roles wid caution.. It is definately hard for an outsider to survive long in bolly..tough industry.
