it,s unfair. the movie is based on violence so why they r making a big deal. shahid has a big fan following of teens as well. i hope everything works out. i am really waiting for a shahid movie n the half yr is gone n no shahid movie.

Ghajini had so much violence that even I was cringing, KI wasnt a sex comedy, it was a cheap comedy..they tried so damn hard to make it funny, but I was rolling my eyes throughout the whole thing, Salaam Namaste had bedroom scenes AND practically showed child birth, if I'm not mistake, even Neil and Nikki got U/A.
Kaminey has a kissing scene and maybe a bedroom scene too, the cuss word used are like "kutta or kamina" and violence, cuz umm the main lead is a gunda. He cant be threatening people with a slap, he has to beat em up with a fire extinguisher and a guitar, lol. Come on, this is soo damn ridiculous, cant the freaking Censor Board get professional already?
Btw guys, no one checks IDs in India 😉 or even in the United States, so go watch Kaminey 😃

You said it all, Riya. I don't have much to add. The Censor Board is very clearly biased. You are right about Neal N' Nikki getting a U/A certificate, which is quite ridiculous, considering the amount of mature and suggestive content it had in the film. I remember Mahesh Bhatt complained about this back then because he said that one of his films was not as bold as that film, but it got an "A" certificate. Guess what though, certain parties like YRF are always favored. It is sad that there is so much politicization in the CB to the point it matters probably what connections you have to get certain ratings. The inherent hypocrisy here is thick enough to cut with a knife. But I would like to add a correction, no one checks ID's for Bollywood movies in the U.S., and in India they definitely don't.

*Then again I have been able to sneak into "R" rated films since I was 15 because I had friends, who worked at the local movie theater, who would let it slide.😛 But now I am more than old enough so it does not really matter.

lol screw this crap..I'm gonna see my Shahid if that's the last thing I do...and I'm so glad that for Indian movies we dont have a rating system in the town I live..so I can just go and watch it

Haha call me Riya. I read this whole CB thing a while ago and I was like "Grrr, CB is so dumb." So I was complaining about this whole deal in my head😆.

I'm glad you opened this topic though, now everyone is aware of this issue, and as Nimmi says we should all be be able to sneak in😉 (even though I'm old enough).

Can you imagine, the song Dhan Tana's has the word "teli" in it. The lyrics go like "hai dildiltara mere teli ka tel", so this one random politician from UP says that he is offended by the word "teli"😕 It supp hurt the feelings of the people of UP. Now, Vishal is himself from UP, why would he offend his own people?😕

To all this crap, Vishal said that these days any random man can stand up and say that he's offended and it'll make it national news!😆
