I'll say it again. Its like how Ashutosh said that Aish deserved the best actress award more than Priyanka.

Why is it such a big difference! I know Pritish Nandy is a producer, but he is also apart of the audience and a movie viewer! He is human afterall! I'm not saying I agree with him, which I don't! I thought she hot in KI! But he's allow to say what he wants! I mean you don't know if PN, the producer or the viewer, was tweeting! He's allowed to say what he wants. Also this isn't the same as Ashu b/ Ashu choose the wrong time adnwrong place to express his opinions, whereas Jaya B. choose the correct time. I'm a big Ash fan and wuld have been thrilled if Ash won, but Priyanka deserved and Kudos to her! Back to Pritish nandy, he choose the right medium, Twitter is a social network made to express your opinion. And how to you know Kareena wouldn't have cared if a random blogger had said it b/c we all know Kareena doesn't respond to criticism postively whether it be negative or positive criticism. Besides, kareena has criticized actresses' looks in films before too, she doesn't today, but she has in the past!

Its very easy for ppl to sit by and let kareean be insulted, even when she hasnt done anything and support Pritish who's sitting there openly have a field day.

I'm not supoorting what he said, I'm just saying he's allowed to express his opinions the same way Kareena chooses to express and critique films, actors, and actresses through the media and journalists. PN is using th internet, while Kareena chooses journalists!

Like I said sweetcoco, there are opinoins, and then there are insults. Fizzles said what I wanted to say.

Not commenting on Kareena's previous comments about anyone else but on what Mr.Nandy said himself, I think that was just a pathetic thing to say and very unprofessional of him. Its a different thing to compare Chameli & KI, and her roles but to call her a joke is an insult.

thats true, i agree with u here,its the the ash and ashutosh situation. The eprson that says it makes alot of differnce ecpessially if she worked with him i would be hurt if i was in her place

You know it wouldn't have made that big of a difference if Ashu himself had said it on a blog.. because PC would have just said, "that's his opinion" or some diplomatic answer. Sure it was wrong, I am not saying what he said is right, I'm saying he has a right to write on his blog.

The reason we're all upset with Ashu is because he said it on a public platform. That is all. I don't know why this issue is being dragged.

Writing blog is an art...Not everyone can do it and do it in a successful way. There are few who insted of partry hopping go back and sit on their computer and write thier thoughts. They have right to put their thoughts in word. Not everyone likes to shop, party and travel all the time...

Before it used to be your diary or journal but now technology has given each adn everyone opportunity to write theri thoughts and then get feedback on it whether what they feel is right or wrong or are their many others who feel the same.....I am regular to many blogs (especially scrapbooking) and I can say that i am learnign so much from reading those blogs.

So if you say you don't care about blogs it means more that you can blog..

You stole words out of my mouth, so needless to say that I concur with everything you said here. Kareena's comments contradict each other; on one hand, she claims that everyone is entitled to their opinion, on the other, she is blasting Nandy for a comment that he made. I personally don't see anything slanderous with Nandy's comment to warrant such a response.

Also, people actually have expectations from Kareena? I will live to be a 100 but never understand the hype around this woman. In her entire career, she has only given one performance, IMO, that was creditable, or that actually transcends into the realm of acting, and that was Chameli. I have not seen Omkara, therefore I cannot comment, and I think her performance in Jab We Met was the most painfully overrated performance of the decade. Kareena Kapoor plays Kareena Kapoor in every film; a rich, spoiled, obnoxious brat.

well, KI was a REALLY RETARDED movie, i mean i was left speechless and with a lot of questions for kareena...but thats very rude of Pritesh Nandy to say she was a JOKE in KI, (even though she really was) but these comments should be left to the audience to make not producers, they should know how much effort is put into a film. i mean, i thought his movie SHABD was a joke, i was left pulling my hair, like WTH is this?
