Sanju Baba Ka Hat-trick!
This Diwali movie goers will have an overdose of Sanjay Dutt with three of his films releasing on the same day. Ajay Devgan's All The Best, Ashtavinayak Cinevision's Blue and Eros's Aladin which are scheduled to release on October 16 (2009).
Our Starboxoffice source says, "There was a time when there used to be one or two films of the same star releasing but I think this would be perhaps for the first time when one actor will have three films releasing on the same day. Although all three films are different from each other. Blue is spectacular with its 100 crore budget filled with breathtaking underwater stunt. All the Best is a comedy and Aladin is a fantasy flick. "
Producers of Aladin say, "We will be releasing the film on October 16th and that is our final decision. And we are definitely sticking to the schedule."
Rohit shetty director of All The Best said, "We want to release our film this Diwali but I am not aware of the other releases."
Ashtavinayak, producer of Blue confirms their release date, "We are aware of the other two releases, but we are surely releasing the movie on October 16. We can't change that. And all the films are different from each other so there is no problem even if they are releasing on the same day."
When we called up Dharam Oberoi who handles Sanjay Dutt's production house he said, "Sanjay only makes sure of completing the film he signs. And once he is done with the project it depends on the producers of the film when they want to release."
Sanju Baba sure has a unique situation lined up on Diwali with his hat-trick outing. Which one is a hit, we can't be too sure, but because he'll only be competing with himself this time, pass ya fail does not matter. It's not election, like they say, it's just a film!
