Mumbai: Salman Khan and Sohail Khan seem to have become extremely fond of Vatsal Seth. Seth, who worked with both the brothers in Heroes, has now bagged another film after Sohail suggested his name to the film-maker.
In fact, Sohail was supposed to do the said role in the film Paying Guest but he suggested Vatsal's name instead. Vatsal says, "Sohail bhai insisted that someone young should do the role. And he suggested my name. I didn't even know anybody in the production house, but I got the film. Sohail bhai has been very nice to me. While doing Heroes, we bonded well and they have become like family to me."
Vatsal started his career with the TV show Just Mohabbat and then made a transition into films with Tarzan, The Wonder Car. He has always been associated with the lover-boy image. So doesn't he want to change it?
"I also had the same feeling and wanted to build up my physique. However, one day while talking to Salman bhai, I was in for a surprise. He told me that I should continue with whatever I have been doing. He advised me that my appeal lies in my young guy image which I should cash-in on. I was really impressed and since then I've been happy with my image," he says, adding, "Salman is like my elder brother. So is Sohail bhai. They have been a great help to me in terms of my career."
Beyond the Khan brothers, Vatsal is also close to Ajay Devgan with whom he made his film debut. "When Ajay was shooting U, Me Aur Hum, I helped him out with the production. It was a great learning experience being behind the camera," he says. Apart from Paying Guest, Vatsal has three other films lined up for release -- Toh Baat Pakki, Ghost Ghost Na Raha and Season's Greetings.
