I'm not pregnant: Malaika

Mumbai: The buzz that emanated about Malaika Arora-Khan's 'pregnancy' when she walked the ramp for Vikram Chatwal's Mai Mumbai show has been finally put to rest.

Malaika forthrightly denies the rumours: "I'm certainly not pregnant. The rumours are not true. It's annoying. I wish someone had checked with me before announcing this to the world." So how then did the flab emerge on her otherwise washboard abs? Malaika says, "Let's blame it on the ill-fitting gown (see pic)." Well for those who don't know, the gown she wore that night was a Versace gown.

She also adds that she's taking a break till June. "I'll start working on two projects after June." That apart, Malaika says she's ready with her fashion line. "It's just that this is not the right time to launch it. I'm waiting for the recession to get over."

Now that it's time for the elections, who will Malaika support?

"I feel voting is a pointless and futile exercise. Nonetheless, I'll vote for someone in the new generation. I completely believe that the person we should vote for should be very educated, should not have a criminal record and should not be someone who is 80 years and above."

Hmmm, wonder who Malaika is hinting at!
