Shazahn's Dream Debut
After dabbling in modelling and theatre, Shazahn has now set her eyes on Bollywood. And she couldn't have asked for a better debut. A source close to Yash Raj Films said, "Shimit had been looking for a suitable actress for a long time. There were talks with Sonam Kapoor and Deepika Padukone but nothing materialised. Shimit was insisting on an actress who could bring a whiff of freshness to his film. And then he found Shazahn who he thinks is perfect for the role. In fact, Shimit auditioned her for the role last week. He says Shazahn suits the part perfectly."
She was very clear that if she ever became an actress in Hindi films, it would be in a big banner and opposite a popular star." We spoke to Alyque Padamsee who neither confirmed nor denied the news. "Shazahn has auditioned for the role and is one of the hot contenders. But I cannot tell you anything more than that right now," said Alyque. Despite repeated attempts, Shazahn and Shimit remained unavailable for comment. |
