Funny reading this from an actress who has so far produced 2 very below par performances, maybe Sonam should concentrate on ACTUALLY trying to act in her next movie, and try to produce even half a inch of magic that Kajol has produced in her movies.
If she thinks Kajol has NOT shown variety in her work, then maybe she doesnt even know who Kajol is lol, KKHH (literally ran the movie herself), Fanaa, Gupt, Dushman, K3G, Baazigar, Ishq (her emotional scenes even surpassed Aamir in that movie), HATMRH, UMAH (a brilliant performance, probably her best til-date), all these roles where a pole apart from each other, if this is not diversity, than frankly I dont know what is! Kajol lives her characters, and probably that's why she is one of the very few who can actually outshine her male Co-stars!
Can Rani ever produce a Gupt peformance that Kajol did, act as menacing as Kajol was in Gupt? Frankly I dont I think anyone can!
Rani is a great actress, but Kajol is far far more superior as an actress than Rani, anyday!
The only actress, in her era, that can outdo Kajol's work , is ONLY Tabu, her Chandani Bar performance is simply unmatched by anyone! Unrivalled!
Sonam seems to have all of sudden got this urge of promoting Rani, instead its advised maybe she SHOULD try to establish herself as an atleast a competent actress, rather than make groundless statements in order to promote others! Im sure Rani is accomplished enough to promote herself, and when she needs to she will do!
Also watch out for MNIK, im sure she will produce something very very special!
