*cough* Let's take a look at Rani's hit movies then, shall we?
Ghulam - Aamir Khan * Rani's voice was dubbed in this movie so I'm dubious whether this should even be considered one of her hits, much less solo-hit.Kuch Kuch Hota Hai - Shahrukh Khan + KajolChalte Chalte - Shahrukh KhanSaathiyaHum Tum - Saif Ali Khan (I suppose you could term this her solo-hit as well)Bunty Aur Babli - MultistarrerVeer-Zaara - Shahrukh Khan + Preity ZIntaBlackKANK - Multi-starrerTa Ra Rum Pum - semi-hitThree movies which can roughly be deemed her "solo-hits". This in contrast to Kajol's Gupt (It was a multi-starrer so unsure if this should count), Dushman, Pyar Kiya To Darna Kya, Pyar To Hona Hi Tha, Dil Kya Kare, Hum Aapke Dil Mein Rehte Hain, and Fanaa (not including U, Me Aur Hum since I'm unsure of it's box-office status). So, if we're talking about "surviving" a movie without support from other more influential sources, Kajol wins over Rani in that aspect. And to think, Rani has done more movies than Kajol.*raises eyebrows at legendary* That would certainly explain why the little girl, Ayesha Kapoor, got the national award, wouldn't it?😛 IMO, Rani was strictly average in Black. There were some scene where she was exceptional but as a whole, the little girl stole her thunder.
perfect!nothing more to add other than that sonam lost a fan in me forever!she really had the guts to make a comment on some one as accomplished as kajol inspite of being a nobody.
and people who think sonam's opinion should be respected, tell her to get to a position wher she can make comments on senior actress like kajol and then i'll respect her opinions.who is she to make commenst on kajol???a NOBODY.she is here in showbiz thanks to her daddy dearest.otherwise who would have taken her in their films???no one.she is not all that talented for film makers to go nuts over her.so whatever!
