Shahid Kapoor severs ties with his designer and long-time friend

Shahid Kapoor has bid adieu to his long time designer Shabina Khan. The one-time friends have parted ways professionally.
She was his designer for five years, and was a close friend to him and Kareena Kapoor when they were dating, and even managed to remain close to both after they separated.
Gossip grouse
Says a source, "It happened two months ago. Shabina loves to gossip and Shahid felt that a lot of personal and professional stuff about him was being passed onto Bebo and her friends. This for difficult for Shahid — who is a very private person — to accept. When things didn't change even after he cautioned her a few times, he decided to cut off from her."
The source adds that this working relationship between them had to end sooner or later as the actor was very unhappy with Shabina. He expects loyalty from his friends and he felt that Shabina was closer to Kareena and Saif than him. The changed equations irked him but what really drove him to disconnect from her was details of his private life being discussed by her at parties and social gatherings, after she downed a few."
Things came to a head a couple of months ago when the actor confronted her. The source says, "They had a huge fight and that's when Shahid asked her to stop working with him." Even though they are not together professionally, he has known her for a long time and invited her to his birthday party last week, and she attended it.
Shabina admits, "Yes I am not doing Shahid's clothes anymore but I don't want to comment on the matter as it's personal. I will complete Ken Ghosh's film and then we go our separate ways. I did go to Shahid's birthday party last week but please note that I was there for only half an hour. Bebo too had a party at Saif's home and I was at Bebo's party till 5 am. Kareena is like my little sister, I love her and my loyalty towards her will always be the strongest. Bebo is the sweetest, most giving friend someone can have. If she asks me to fight with someone for her I will fight first and think about it later."
Shahid Kapoor's spokesperson says, "Shabina is very much doing Ken Ghosh's film with Shahid and they share a great equation."

Forget Amrita Arora, Shabnia seems to me like Kareena's true and closest friend.

so there was a bebo party on shahid's bday party? I think shahid made the right choice by not working with Shabina. There are so many designers, anyway.

LMAO...good going Shahid...I mean if the lady couldnt respect his wishes then there's no reason to keep friends like that...

And this matters because? Once again, I fail to see the big deal about all things Shahid-Kareena, years after the break-up.

It is kinda interesting though, coz Shabnia was able to maintain friendship with both of them after the break up. Perhaps one of the few to be able to do that. ANd now she's completely drifted closer to bebo. The article is pretty one sided though. Makes Shabina look bad, like a drunk gossiping woman while shahid is the oen with all the suspicions. Cant really trust it entirely.

If htey dont get along, then yes, perhaps it was the right choice. But Shabina knew Shahid wayyy before she knew kareena. I find it amusing how she now feels so strongly towards bebo that she's willing to severe even her professional ties. Strengthens my belief in this girl. There is something about this girl and giving her friends and loved ones her all.

Or this designer is a fair weather friend - she knows Kareena is hot right now as compared to Shahid so is sticking to her.
This is not to contradict your post desigal just another view point since we dont really know the truth .

Ofcourse, I understand. But Shabina has NEVER designed for Kareena. She always designed for Shahid. Kareena has two main designers, Manish and Aki Narula. Shabina is was just a mutual friend who became very close. Shabina doesnt get any such advantages by being with Kareena. I've seent his woman with her on many occasions though. She's with her quite a lot. Actually she's always with Kareena. I'm sure you've seen her as well.

Shahid can get another designer...no biggie. I dont like people like Shabina who go from here to there and back...thats so tactless.
