their chemistry was really good! but i think cause of ash they are not doing any films together..esp after what happened on lagaa chunri mein daag sets..but i am not completely sure it that is the real reason!

wait wat?? i don't remember him being in love with Rani..as far as i remember he was in love with her BEST friend who didn't staay so friendly with Rani , so vivek also cut all the ties🥱

Yeah but this is before Ash came in the scene. I remember seeing Vivek on the front page of Stardust Magazing...which said "I love Rani"

K I just found this article..so I'm gonna post part of it.

When asked about another film with Vivek Oberoi who recently confessed to a gossip magazine that he loved her, Rani Mukherjee smiles and shakes her head.

"Vivek is like a little boy. He doesn't mean he loves me in the romantic sense. It's like the love a child feels for the whole world."

"We had our share of problems during Saathiya . Vivek seemed to know so much about cinema and he made it known that he knew. Coming from a newcomer, this attitude was bothersome."

Rani says she has learnt a lot from her senior co-stars like Kamal Haasan, Anil Kapoor and Shah Rukh. "They have taught me to be completely in character on the sets.

Film glossies were full of how Vivek made a trip to Kolkata to join Rani after her cousin's sudden tragic death.

"It was like this. When Vivek called me I was speaking to him about my cousin Mimi when I broke down. Vivek called up my brother Raja and said he was worried about me."

"I suddenly saw him walk into my aunt's home. Aishwarya Rai and her mother who were shooting in Kolkata also came with Vivek. She feels touched by the gesture."

"I think it was a kind gesture. I had been crying for 15 days. That cousin was like my own brother. It's the worst tragedy of my life. Everything in life seems so temporary. I think gossip and other trivial pursuits are pathetic. Why not spend your time in worthwhile pursuits?"

"Once you're gone you're gone forever. I want to be good to everyone. Anyone who's nice to me I'm nice in return. I'm not going to spend my life bothering about ulterior motives. I want to be there for my friends."

Rani describes herself as a tomboy. "I don't behave any differently with my male co-stars. I'm like a pal to Anil, Shah Rukh and Aamir. So nobody's girlfriend or wife needs to feel threatened by me. I'm in my own world."

So yeah basically Vivek did have a thing for Rani until Ash came in the picture
