Please. SRK can pull off more than a Lagaan. Lagaan atleast had a female lead and romantic songs. CDI had none of that at all. And SRK still pulled it off majorly.

Youre missing the point. none of the movies you listed broke or created any records in terms of BO. That's what I meant by this magnitude of success. If we're listing movies like these you and I both know SRK has that list too.

But TZP is the official nomination for 2007, not Chak de. Most will agree that while Chak de was appreciated, TZP had far greater social relevance and impact. I think you know that as well as I do. Aamir has a better track record in socially relevant films (Rang de, TZP) but SRK has more blockbusters.

No doubt Chak de and OSO were bigger blockbusters. I am not arguing on that. SRK probably has greater fan base and crowd pulling capabilities. Lets see if any of his 'blockbuster' films manage to reach the final Oscar rounds like Aamir's Lagaan, cuz his crowd pulling abilities won't get him there. LOL.

As for the Aamir media statements, I advise you not to take them too seriously. He is not saying cuz he has tasted such success after 20 years (the theory put forward byt the inital posts), but because he has not given up marketing his film to draw attention, even after it crossed 1 billion. It is marketing, pure and simple. If you don't see it, ppl at business school will.

Is Aamir constantly picking on ShahRukh Khan??? Its obvious he is insecure. Why can't he forget what SRK says and ignore him......instead of harping on it...who's the one getting free publicity here.

And as far as Salman is concerned ...he is one of those who forgot to grow up. His brawls and abusing is what he is known for...as far as his charitable deeds are concerned if I am not mistaken it started only after he crushed people on the road.....go figure.

Its ridiculous to read 43year old men behaving like Middle school kids and getting into brawls....

What a Shame. There is no reason they need to get along but the least they need to do is live and let live.

There is enough place in the industry for all these Khans plus the Kumars, Bacchans, Roshans...so why this constant bickering and insults......What kind of world is this????

Sorry to say, but Aamir is not doing any creative work at all, as far I got to know ''Ghajini'' is a remake from an other film, is it a creativity to copy others' work? 😕 😆

One more thing, is it creativity a 43 man who keep on showing frustration on an other man, come on, u people r not kids, I am not trying to be in any one's side, but as far I see in media and articles, SRK did talk about Aamir, but it was only for fun in filmfare awards, infact Saif did more than SRK, but both Aamir and Salman are keeping on bad mouthing SRK, which show their jealousy, I would say to them get a life!..............

first of all ghajini is a remake of the southern film that too the same director..how can u say that it's a copy...nd even if it's "someone else's work"..wat has aamir got to doi with it...the performance which he gave in ghajini was not a copy was it?.......n speaking abt frustation....y doesnt anyone here get that these two ppl are just joking abt each other....aamir has started sayin abt srk recently n that too wen he is constantly being asked abt SRK.Wen amir n srk have sed the no.1 nonsense..it's only coz the media asked them...srk has been poking fun for a long time at amir...wud u call this a creativity?
