Shahrukh Khan did not charge a penny for Rab Ne

It is learnt that the King Khan didn't charge a single penny from his Rab Ne Bana Di Jodi makers Yash Raj films. But that doesn't mean he has done the film for free. So what has exactly been the equation then? Read on…

Insiders tell us, "Shah Rukh Khan, post the success of Chak De! India has made a rule of sorts for close friends such as the Chopra family, Karan Johar and Farah Khan that he will not charge them any money but instead opt for the stake in the profits that they offer. He had applied this rule for good old friend Aditya Chopra's just released Rab Ne and his soon to start film with Karan Johar, My Name Is Khan."

"With Rab Ne all set to do bumper business at the box-office especially in North India and the overseas market, Shah Rukh may well end up taking home much more than his normal fees per film! That's a real smart move indeed of having your cake and eating it too." feels a senior Bollywood trade analyst.

Well, they are his true friends though thick and thin, I suppose. Though it would be better if they did not charge fees to smaller films than big budget extravaganzas. I suppose he feels indebted to them for the big breaks they gave him in his career.

Umm i think srk will do well from first few days anyhow and figures suggesting even if it does start to fall. It is kind of good of him because they gave him a break and say if the film did not do well he would only get paided what his works earnt.

The media keep on making up stories!, I wonder if this story is true or not, if it's true, so it's his own bussiness, he knows better the matter...............

Anyway, only ALLAH knows what is the truth........

Whats so sweet about that? It actually shows he is an astute businessman regardless of whether the film flops or does well. He wants a certain percentage of the film, thats a lot of money if the film actually works. If it does not do well, he'll probably get his price. Win-win situation.

Srk did mentioned that he don't talk about much would he be charging with YRF! Aditya or Yash just give them a call and he signs the movies. Only with CDI, srk did refused the movie because of dates problems, but after Akshay kumar and Salman Khan refused the role Aditya went to Srk at 2am to his house that he has to do the movie, and Srk said Yes. Recently Srk mentioned in interview, he doesn't take profits from others movies.

WOW greedy child so he just wants more money LOL cuz usually films make 3 times more then wht u get payed n his r usually hits so im guessing he thinks RNBDJ was going to do so well dat he was ganna takemoney right outta the profit bucket smooth move but ur films ganna flop or already did lol
