'Aishwarya is iconic!' - Katrina Kaif

While most people seem to believe that there's a sense of animosity between Katrina Kaif and Aishwarya Rai Bachchan because of their common link Salman Khan, this could just be another rumour. In fact, it's quite interesting that while Abhishek and Amitabh are cordial with Salman (who is Aishwarya's ex-boyfriend), Katrina doesn't seem to have any hard feelings towards Ash either.

In a recent interview, she even went on to compliment the former Miss World. Recently, as reported by several websites, Katrina was announced the most Googled person in India.

As for beating Aishwarya in the race, Katrina said, "I can't be compared with her...she's iconic!" So much for hard feelings.

Katrina has recently turned over a new leaf, signing films with more challenging roles. The trailer of New York, which was just released, looks like it boasts of a promising performance from her.

"They [the characters] are nerve-wrackingly challenging. But I need to go to another level. After watching me in these films no one, not even me, will say I'm just being glamorous," Katrina said. Let's hope so!

kat hasn't shown her potential as an actress as of YET so it would be rather unfair to write her off...so lets see what comes our way in terms of acting rather than just glamour
