Please don't throw Pakistanis entertainers out

Mikaal Zulfikar, the young Pakistani actor who played a terrorist in Jagmohan Mundhra's Shoot On Sight is determined to shift base to India and buy property in collaboration with two other leading entertainers singer Atif Aslam and Ali Zafar.

Says Mikaal, "When I come to Mumbai I'll be searching for a place to stay. Yes, Atif Aslam, Ali Zafar and I are planning to get one big place to stay in. All three of us are from Lahore and have known each other for years. So it makes sense to stay together. I love Mumbai. That's where the action is."

Mikaal admits the situation for Pakistanis in Mumbai is grim at the moment. " I've heard Pakistan entertainers are being asked to leave Mumbai after what happened. That's really unfair. Bollywood is a global entertainment headquarter.

We shouldn't be stopped from coming to Mumbai. India is a global market and terrorist attacks shouldn't deter that target. I've spoken to some Pakistani entertainers in Mumbai. And they aren't sure what would happen now."

Mikaal is getting ready to shift to Mumbai in February. He has signed a film Jagmohan Mundhra's Room Mates.

Says Mikaal, "Room Mates is a romantic thriller set and shot in Mumbai. I'll come to Mumbai alone. So I hope I'm made to feel welcome."

ok confirmed Non Indian can not buy a property in india and Pakistani can never get citizenship in India.....so mr mikaal, atif, ali zafar keep dreaming 😉

that's a silly statement. did the U.S. ask all the muslims or Afghanis who are citizens there to leave after 9/11? Please learn to differentiate between a few terrorists and innocent citizens. and what about the internal help those pakistanis got? should they throw out those indians too?

Let's not compare ourselves with Americans....we don't need to follow their foot steps..and at this point of time we are not in a position to trust any Pakistani...and it's my opinion and it's not about them being innocent or not...it's about 2 nations....and it's better for them in terms of security if they leave this country...at this point of time people may even harm them and then again people will start blaming Indians only..we have enough problems..we don't need more.

and why do u ppl bring Religion into it..did i talk about Muslims...and please learn to differentiate b/w Muslims and pakistanis...we have more muslims in india than in Pakistan....and we do consider them as one among us.

but they were citizen of US and no pakistani is a Citizen of india.....no pakistani can get Indian citizenship even if they marry to an indian......adnan sami tried 3 times till date he didnt get citizenship of india.......so we can def tell them to leave india

As this is a sensitive time, Pakistani performers who are not citizens of India should leave on their accord.

It's obvious that Pakistani people are not at fault for terrorist elements breeding in their own country. Because they are victims of these otrocities themselves.

But there is increasing escalation of tension and this tension can easly provoked when emotions are running high. I believe Indian people should also leave and Pakistan and vice versa.

It would be the right thing to do at this time until a resolve has been established.

Ok, i am a pakistani in britain and i dont see what pakistani artistes are doing in india anyway i know they get more work etc but they should do whatever work they do and go back to their country this is my opinion
