Aftab-Aamna make future plans!
Though their first film together, Robby Grewal's Aloo Chaat has yet to release, lovebirds Aftab Shivdasani and Aamna Sharif have already started thinking 'Big'.
It is learnt that the couple's next project Sab Se Peeche Hum Kade, which marks Aftab's debut as producer as well, has a concept akin to that of the 1988 Hollywood flick Big starring Tom Hanks.
Says a source, "The project is being shot hush-hush. Aftab essays the character of a kid who overnight morphs into an adult but his mind is still that of a child. Major chunks of the film have already been shot at various locales in Shimla and Kulu Manali."
At the Aloo Chaat media meet recently, both the actors evaded queries about their next film together. Adds the source, "Aftab has told everyone to be tightlipped till he makes a formal announcement at the right time."
Glenn Barretto (of the Glenn-Ankush duo) who earlier called the shots for Jaane Hoga Kya (2006) that had Aftab in the cast along with Bipasha Basu and Preeti Jhangiani is directing Sab Se Peeche Hum Kade. The twosome has also directed several music videos and television shows. The film marks Glenn's debut as a solo director.
Says Glenn, "Yes, I'm directing the film. My association with Aftab goes back a long way. At the moment, we are not divulging any details about the project as we have to sit down and design it out."
It is also learnt that a big corporate house is funding the project.
Penny Marshal's Oscar-nominated film Big (1988) is about a young boy who makes a wish to become big. He wakes up the following morning to find his desire fulfilled. Though his body has grown older, he is still a 12-year-old inside. As he grapples with the unfamiliar world of grown-ups, he also has to get a job and have his first romantic encounter with a woman.
