Have Harman & Priyanka split?

BOMBAY—Mrs Baweja is apparently totally against the Harman-Priyanka match. She was not happy that her son was involved with an actress and she made it very clear whenever she met Priyanka.
The hot buzz doing the rounds is that Harman and Priyanka have split. Insiders are not surprised by the turn of events because they were expecting it for a long time. Priyanka was never welcome in the Baweja family. Harry did not interfere but Mrs Baweja was totally against this match. She did not approve of Priyanka because she is an actress. She was not happy that her son was involved with an actress and she made it very clear whenever she met Priyanka.
Priyanka was patient, hoping that when Mrs. Baweja got to know her better she may change her mind. But the latter was not so much against Priyanka but the fact that she was an actress and she would never accept it. This made Priyanka very insecure throughout the making of Love Story 2050. During the promos of the film she felt even more unhappy because Harman would not acknowledge their relationship openly.
She looked around her at all the other couples who declared their love for each other publicly. There was Saif and Kareena (her arch rival) and even newcomer Imran Khan (his rival) who openly confessed to his long time girlfriend. Priyanka did not badger Harman about all these trivialities while they were busy shooting for the film. She felt that it would be advisable to keep quiet during the promos because it was better that Harman get solo publicity rather than the media pounce upon quotes of their relationship.
But after the release of the film, Priyanka felt very let down that Harman still hedged about their relationship and wanted to keep it under wraps. She expressed her views to Harman who explained that it is better to let the Press go on speculating; that it was better for both their careers to keep their relationship a secret.
This did not go down well with Priyanka who finally told him to take a hike. She had kept her hurt feelings hidden for far too long hoping that Harman would acknowledge her in public. Her friends advised her to face the facts that he was just trailing her along and did not have the guts to face his mother's wrath, for if he came out publicly his mother would be hurt and disappointed. Caught between the two, Harman chose to seek peace at home. So Priyanka decided to end their relationship.
The crew on Madhur Bhandarkar's sets of Fashion swear they heard her tell Harman that it is over and she cannot carry on with him anymore.
