Fans collect to wish Big B

Even though Amitabh Bachchan was admitted to Lilavati Hospital on his birthday, his fans from all over the country made sure they turned up outside the actor's home to wish the actor and hope for his speedy recovery.

Bachchan's security guards collect gifts which had been brought by his .

A fan shows his appreciation for the actor's work through the years.

For the past 5 years two of Amitabh's devotees come all the way from Haryana with a golden medal, which portrays him (AB) and cans of Ganga jal.

It is said a huge celebration for AB's birthday was suppose to take place today night at his residence Jalsa. His staff can be seen preparing for the function.

Flowers and banners galore. All roads to his house were filled with hoards of people with bouquets and with banners of wishing him on his birthday.

Ardent fans of the Big B arrive from all corners of the country carrying huge hoardings.

Bachchan who complained about stomach pain at Pratiksha was also surrounded by fans and one of them came in Hanuman's costume to bless the super star.

Big B doing well

Superstar Amitabh Bachchan was finally discharged today from Lilavati Hospital. Although back home the actor is said to stay off work for atleast another week.

The actor, who was admitted on his 66th birthday on October 11 2008, was accompanied by Aishwarya Rai and Abhishek Bachchan.
