Nice to see you back! 🤗
This show was advertised as a sitcom cum romcom. ITV needs to learn from this show on how to do humour right! That too in such a relatable way, without going OTT.
Amidst the fun, I like how there's this theme of secrets. Everyone seems to be hiding something.
I think that Nikhil's plan which he whispered into Myra's ears was that arika is willing to help him make Rhea jealous. Her love for Nikhil at the get together looked too fake & it looked more like she was trying to instigate Rhea.
Aryan is clearly hiding the real reason behind the tiffin breaking. It doesn't seem as simple as tripping. I remember the show mentioning earlier that he has no friends at school. Also, the game he designed was with the purpose that people would emerge stronger the way he did. All this seems to be hinting at the possibility that he's being bullied at school.
Myra, too, is hiding about that night with Kabir & her feelings. It isn't love, but there's clearly an attraction that she masks under statements like calling Kabir as one 'with devious ways'😆
That night clearly left a huge impact or should I call it scar because not only did it go against her morals & definitions of what is right but also the conflict that came along with it in the emotions she felt. Kabir's letter & honest confession of wishing they had made love that night further pushed her into her shell. She's clearly not used to this such frank confessions that too from a guy who is the complete opposite of what she wants. She'll come around with time.
There is more to Kabir in what meets the eye but for once, I like that its in a good way not in a dark, mysterious way like we're used to seeing. He's clearly had a bad past but I like how he didn't let that affect his outlook towards life & his way of communication with people. He may have closed up in terms of not believing in marriage but at least he's still a kind, positive & optimistic person.
Rhea.. the biggest fakester who everyone is seeing through clearly harbours feelings for Nikhil but she won't admit until she's made to feel insecure.
