Aryan Vaid regrets leaving behind his lady love "among wolves"

Kolkata, December 8: Aryan Vaid sounds depressed post his ouster from the Bigg Boss bungalow. "I'm not disappointed, but a little sad and you know why," says Aryan Vaid. "I'm feeling sad to leave Anupama (Verma) behind among wolves."

The Aryan-Anupama romance episode turned out to be the only entertainment fodder for viewers of the reality show since the exit of Kashmera Shah and Rakhi Sawant.

"I don't know in what light I came across before the audience. It's probably because the channel shows only what it wants to. I might sound selfish but I want Anupama to go next. I'll watch the show till she's there," Vaid adds. Rubbishing rumours that his lady love doesn't reciprocate his feelings, he says, "I don't know why people are asking me the same question. She feels the same about me and I'll definitely want to take our bond forward."

Vaid is as clueless about the eventual winner as the rest of us. "All I can say that it's bizarre to be at that house. I'll never ever want to be part of such a show that doesn't test your skills. But I thank Bigg Boss for the good things that have happened in my life," he ends diplomatically.

Pangs of separation also make him introspective. "I regret nominating Deepak Parasher who was such a classy and harmless person. I fell prey to groupism," he adds. Vaid also stands a good chance of being sent back as a wild card entry so we can have some romance back on the show.

'We're close friends'

Angad Bedi speaks about his work on television and denies seeing Anupama Verma

Ex-cricketer Bishen Singh Bedi's son Angad has bagged the title role in Ramanand Sagar's 'Prithviraj Chauhan'(Star Plus). "Some things are just meant to happen. I was flying to England when I got a call to come and audition for the role. When I got into the warriors clothes, I was told the search for Prithviraj Chauhan had ended," he reminisces with a smile.

The shooting is yet to begin but Angad is busy with other things. "Besides this, there are film offers which I am considering. There's also an anchor-based show in the offing".
Angad moved to the entertainment field despite playing professional cricket for eight years. "I am certainly not of the view that a cricketer's son should be a cricketer only.

I knew that I was inclined towards the glamour field and I told my dad so. He firmly told me that he wouldn't help me out because he wanted me to make it on my own steam. So when my aunt Vidyun Singh, who is a well-known choreographer, suggested that I get into modeling, I was game for it. I met her friend, designer J.J.Vallaya, and he insisted that I walk the ramp for him. And the rest is history."

He is linked with model-actress Anupama Verma who is being wooed by Aryan Vaid on 'Bigg Boss'(Sony). What does he feel about that? "Who told you that?" he counters and adds, "See, she is just a close friend like many of my friends.

We go to the same gym and even catch up on movies together. But there's nothing on between us. There's nothing to hide if we were indeed together. I wonder what people get out of spreading vicious gossip. But thankfully, this hasn't hampered our friendship." He says that he watches 'Bigg Boss' with his friends. "It's a good show and it's only with time that we can talk about the developments happening on the show." says he signing off.

That's not the way: Carol Gracias

Usually, Bigg Boss is the one instructing the inmates on how to behave and to follow certain rules. However, this time around it was Bhartiya bhasha ki virodhi Carol Gracias who blasted the Boss for maligning her reputation by linking her up with Ravi Kissen.

In the confession room, Carol said the Boss was confusing her by saying things in Hindi. She also said that Ravi's reputation is already damaged because of his numerous affairs and she would like to stay away from all of it. Good thinking.
