As for use of Alpha Male reminded me of something mentioned yesterday abt Manu being one and all the attributes associated with it and so I presume this too is a characteristic of Alpha Male - giving word, deciding and setting rules before hand and then changing it mid-way and tricking someone and winning yourself.

Like you, I wish the spilling was shown properly. I agree that they must have had a proper shot of the spilling, but they did not show it. I am sure that if they wanted to show it, they could have. After all, this is the same program that showed twice, in slow motion, Baba's attempt at stopping Rohan from entering the igloo.

Coming to the Alpha Male characteristic. To protect his tribe, and to advance self interest, in the real world, you expect and wish the Alpha Male will stand up to the challenge and deceive and eliminate his adversary. Manu did just that. By telling Bani repeatedly that no one will touch each other, he made her believe that he would behave like he did in previous orbits where he suffered her pushes without retaliating. However, he planned to play the game like Bani and go one step further and go for the kill and not just make mild pushes but actually make her spill.

Bani had employed a similar tactic in previous orbit where she agreed there would be no pushing, but kept pushing even to harm her friend Nitibha. She used deception to survive in all previous orbits, but she got deceived by Manu in the final orbit.

For this, Manu has my respect. He played by the rules set by Bigg Boss. Within those rules, he deceived the cunning adversary to eliminate her threat. I do not respect Manveer as much because when the stakes were high in the final orbit, Manveer could not rise above his self conceptions of morality to do what needs to be done to win the game.

When your adversary is playing by a different set of rules and the stakes are high, you want the Alpha Man in your group to leave aside his conceptions of morality and do whatever is necessary to win the game and protect your group and advance its interests.

Whoa that's too much twisting of events. In the first orbit Bani wasn't touching at all. In the second & 3rd she was nudging and not pushing and so was everyone else. Also she had said it before hand itself that she would nudge as by then all were doing it too.

Coming to the last one, rules had changed and they had talked it out before hand how to go about it, so at least stick to your words. It was as usual Manu's overactive analysis and his planning before hand that he would spill bani's bowl that made him take the action.

And if dat's what makes one an Alpha Male and something to be admired then good for people.

@ Blue -and how adversary was playing with different set of rules, except in Manu's mind? And how did Manu making the great sacrifice of morality protect his group and advance its interest? He clearly told Mona as I have already stated that he thought Manveer would spill his bowl and hence to prevent that he spilled Bani's bowl.

Anyways my main point is the topic heading states: Why wasn't the actualy spilling shown by BB?

You mean gentleman right? The characteristics you mentioned are those of a gentleman. 😆
An alpha male is someone who can go to extreme lengths to protect his own.
Aur kya karta Manu? Bani rani ke liye apna pyaala gira deta? 😆

A few points:

1) Agreed. I wish they showed the spilling clearly.

2) Agreed, Bani was nudging and gently in previous orbits. But, I remember no one else was doing the same. Bani's nudging was affecting the stability of everyone ahead of her.

3) In last orbit, the only rule that changed was they could stand still.

4) Manu knew that the stakes were high in last orbit. Bani had been nudging in earlier orbits and would likely nudge and could go further. To make Bani complacent, he pretended that he would play by same code of conduct agreed upon in previous orbits (no touching). But he expected Bani to nudge and he decided he would go for the kill and not just nudge but spill her bowl.

If Manu had just nudged playfully in the last orbit as Bani did in previous orbits, he would have been utterly foolish. Nothing would have stopped Bani to spill someone's bowl in response with force. It would have been a contest of force and very messy.

The best way to end this orbit quickly, without mess, and with desired result for Manu was the way he did, in my opinion.

Of course the touching had started before itself and Bani had also said before starting the 2nd orbit that she would nudge, but not push.

And Manu didn't break the rules by spilling Bani's bowl, but they had decided beforehand, so I guess Bani just expected that they would be respected. The task in the last orbit didn't vary much agreed, but they did re-work on the rules between themselves and its all preposterous on Manu's part to make assumptions as yo what Bani would have done. Also she just wanted to reassess the rule and was talking. It was kinda time out and dat's when Manu struck. So yup ppl r most welcome to applaud Manu for his brilliant played game, but I found it sly and underhand and dat's my POV, i guess.

Anyways nice to have a sane discussion.😊
