I just finished watching episode

Armaan meant skin color and not kaalia from sholay. When he was entering door he said "jaa jaa, cream laga"

Overall all were to be blamed

The worst were Andy and Tannisha who were putting oil on fire

If people with fair complexion can be called Gori what's wrong in calling someone Kaalia. However one should not use physical attributes in squabbles/demeaning way. It's not the word but the intention & the manner in which it's spoken that hurts.

Kaala rang is considered an ugly trait by desi standards...Gori is praising someone...so u don't see any difference between the two??
On topic: Since Tanisha is OK with Armaan calling Kushal Kaalia...I guess she will be OK with her Jijaji being called Kaalia too...atleast Gauhar tried to shut up Kushaal everytime he called Armaan Buddha

Can someone define Kaaliya? It means dark complexion right?

Compared to whites, Arman and Ajaz are Kaaliyas as well.

Compared to paper, Whites are Kaaliyas. lol.

Why this nonsense about Kushal being Kaaliya? What about billions in sub-continent who are dark? How are they feeling? Will they vote for someone who calls other dark and kaaliya?

I appreciate Kushal for tolerating this badtameezi of Ajaz and Armaan.

How will you feel when somebody will call you budha ...
Is Aarman a Budha at the age of 43?
Why didn't u put forward that point.
And forum members are correct to call him Kaaliya..
Actually he is KALIYA

So out of all the pejoratives that get tossed around in the house, you are bothered by Kaaliya in particular?
Have you watched the episode where Kushal was all up Vivek's butt spitting all the LGBT abuses that exists and pretty much bullying him? If he is comfortable with that, he should be comfortable with ANYTHING that gets thrown his way IMO. Asshole. Kaaliya sounds like a shower of flower petals compared to the kinds of gaalis Kushal spits out from his filthy yellow teethed mouth.

Edited to add. Kaaliya was started by Ajaz in the sense that Kushal butted in in his supposed "romance" with Gauhar. It has absolutely nothing to do with his skin color if that helps in anyway whatsoever.

1- Making fun of age, height, weight is still not as bad as making fun of skin color as history is such that people have been discriminated on basis of color

2- We are not in position where it matters. These stars are in position and them making fun of skin color or someones looks is really bad. Imagine a dark skin young person being a fan of Armaan and then he sees him calling Kushal Kaaliya? What will he think?

3- We do not look at ourselves in mirror. I mean this Armaan and Ajaz will be treated as Kaalias among whites.

Lets not go that far on television. I appreciate Kushal for not making it an issue

Hello, High lighted part.
Which country , and religion or race thinks it's ok to make fun of height, weight or age, but not skin.
Common, people lost their brain

I don't know which desi standards because Deepika, Bipasha, Priyanka, Chitrgandha all are dusky and all are considered among the most gorgeous ones in India. People should be proud of skin tone. Kushal himself seems conscious about getting tanned! Again its not the word but the intention as I see many making fun of Gauhar with nerolac paint comments and there her fairness is not meant as compliment!
