Whether Sophia's intention was not to call or to call doesn't matter... What Ajaz heard was a doubt on him being a man... Any one would react... He reacted in a way that suits him others would have reacted in a different way... But in totality a reaction is justified...

Isn't Justified Sallu's new fav word this season?

Pretty sure Hiroo aunty and Farida Appa will agree that "tum mard nahi ho ka matlab" tum "maha puroosh ho".

Aap toh purush hi nahin hain... Aap Mahapurush hain!

Some excellent points raised by few people and I don't know who to address however I would like to say this that today I truly felt bad for Ajaz and this is coming from a guy who roasted him because of his behavior in the first week.

But it was quite apparent that the ENTIRE house mates look at him as some outcast, even during character Kamya was giving him punishment and the poor guy could not understand what was going on, he was feeling humiliated but he kept doing as told.

The house mates did not even gave him a shield because they did not thought him as worthy enough, for the past 2 days he has been on the front getting hit by water balloons trying to stop them and they keep screaming at his ears on how to play.

He kept sharing his concerns about his stitches but nobody seemed to care what he had to say they were not interested whether he is well or not as long as the task was completed he was just some commodity that could be written off as a waste.

And when Salman, Pratyusha, Andy, and Armaan didn't scored enough brown points from him today it was Sophia's day who was able to penetrate his defenses and hit the nerve and get under his skin.

He was so cold that he was literally shuddering and shaking but again nobody gave a rats ass to how his condition was and still kept poking him.

The episode actually showed Sofiya commenting - "Main sab ladkiyon ki taraf se kah rahi hoon ki un ki zindagi mein jo un logon ne aisa aadmi dekha, jaisa aadmi aap ho, us ko bardasht kiya..." - and this was full of grammatical errors. I feel the interpretation could well mean she was talking about all the girls in Ajaz's life (that includes his wife). She might have been talking about all the girls in the BB7 house, but the word "un ki zindagi mein" could certainly mean what Ajaz interpreted. And we don't know just from the episode if she didn't later say this to Ajaz, because Ajaz asked for Sangram's testimony on this, and Sangram did not deny this.

Although I am glad that you are defending Azaz on some different ground, I would however want to have my own. For me both Sophia and Azaz are at equal fault. Sophia was wrong for instigating and Azaz for reacting (glorifying manhood being a man) and falling on Sophia's level of "defining" "manhood" and "masculinity" equal to "strengh" and womanhood equal to "vulnerability". Honestly saying, women like Sophia who speak of women's right are the main obstacle for "gender equality" in our patriarchal society. I absolutely hated the way Sophia presented the trait of "manhood" and "masculinity" as "brave" and the other gender (including transgender and women" as " vulnerable" and having no courage. Her stressing Eli being a female can be "courageous" then why can't Azaz being a man be corageous is undigestable for me. Why are men supposed be stronger, well established, independent than women at any cost and if he does not then he is not a "man" but a "woman" or a "trans". Everytime we put a pressure on a man by saying he is not a man just because he cannot be stronger than a woman or a trans, we are somehow creating a society full of weak women with comparatively stronger men. Everytime, we question man's manhood, when they show " so called typical feminine traits" we are killing the universal human emotions embedded within a man. I just hope someday we have a society when people would stop giving a gendered remark for universal human traits like pain, tears, strength. When a man cries, we go on gendering universal human emotion like "feeling pain". What's so wrong in expressing pain when you are in pain??? Why is man not supposed to cry?? Why when a man cries, we are all set to strip man of his manhood?? Hope someday we have a society where men are not bashed and taunted as "woman" or "trans" for showing their emotional and vulnerable side. And at the same, women is not praised as being a "man" for showing "strength" side. Let us believe that both men and women are equally strong and at the same time vulnerable. Let them fearlessly express themselved as they will without being questioned and taunted.
